UPS Reading

UPS held my parcel at the Reading facilities for 14 days, without any attempted delivery or ever contacting me. After 3 weeks they decided to just return it to the sender. Almost impossible to talk to a person from costumer service: emails which should be replied to within 1 business day (according to UPS) are not replied to in less than 4 business days; if you phone costumer service you will be left talking to AI and recordings and when you chose the option to talk to an agent the line is simply disconnected. Terrible service overall.

Surprisingly cheerful and helpful staff. Maybe it’s because I’m polite, but very grateful nonetheless!

Shocking service lost my shipment. I called the reading depot where it was tracked to, they say they cannot find it. They then put you through support which is in the Philippines who say they will look into the situation. Then guess what happens next nothing.

UPDATE 25/10/2021: Delivery driver was extremely rude to my wife and refused to deliver two parcels to her, demanding money (which had already been paid, with receipts to prove it) and not explaining what the money was for. He did not even say that he was from UPS until my wife challenged him (he was in an unmarked van and demanding cash). I, by chance, saw him down the road as I was driving home and I challenged the driver who proceeded to issue verbal abuse and call both myself and my wife a liar. This is utterly unacceptable behaviour, and the troubling thing is that it continues to happen again and again with UPS.- - - - - - -Second parcel out of two where they have claimed to attempt delivery, but haven't bothered to show up all day. Every time this delivery office gets involved it's atrocious. Avoid this place and this company like the plague.

Unbelievable. Very very poor service. I am waiting for a redelivery for 10 days. And just today I had driver came in with wrong parcel to my address and I asked him where my parcel?????Well you know what it’s still in the Depot!!!!!Never ever recommend them to anyone to use UPSCancel your contracts or you will lose your customers

After being instructed by sunnen, the company sending a specialist item to a busy construction site and utterly failing with no call what so ever and an apparent invisible van that's had the deliver refused?Twice might i add they then delivered to a complete unknown address somewhere and lost the item.Then Refusing to collect the item?Drivers are useless.Customer service useless.Is this an actual joke to you?Avoid.You'll have more chance of a blind cat delivering your parcel.

Unbelievable. Very poor service. I am waiting for a delivery and being told on tracking page that they need security access to be able to deliver my parcel. All my delivery details are correct so what security access is needed. Please UPS do better.

Utterly useless. I don’t often call out terrible companies, but these guys make Hermes/Evri look competent. Impossible to speak to a human, no one informed me that my package was out for delivery and so I missed it (I was home but I have a security gate that has to be unlocked to receive deliveries; they could have called or left it with my neighbour but neither of these options seemed to occur to them), and when I did speak to a person, all I got was disinterest and apathy. Beyond furious with the lack of common sense or anything close to customer service, particularly from this branch

I had an international shipment that was sent to me waited in all day when it was due to arrive, and it didn't get delivered only to find that a import fee was due. I'm not sure why the driver didn't attempt to deliver as I would have paid the fee. I went to pick it up from the depot looking at the reviews on here I expected hell! When I got to the depot to pick it up with the fees paid they located the parcel easily with no problems however, I could have done with not having to pick it up myself but the staff member in reception was very helpfull.

We had the most horrible service by UPS. Our delivered scheduled on the Friday, one week after and at least 10 calls after, we are still waiting for our package to be delivered. This is at the depot and for some reason does not get out for delivery. Every time we call we get a promise of a sort of F/U which never arrives. I was promised a call by a manager from the Depot which never arrived. My boyfriend was promised an email with updates which, you guess...never arrived! It was suggested we make a claim online, however as the package is not lost (they scan it at the depot daily) the system does not allow to proceed. I suggested I go collect this from the depot, as I believe the issue is they have too many packages and can't cop with the requests, and they said this is not possible. This morning, at 10:30am, I tracked the package again and there was an update saying Delivered at 15:20". With proof of delivery and all. Received apparently by my boyfriend who's not even at home. I called again
