Middle of nowhere which is nice. Food was nice but nothing special, service was great, room far nicer than any chain hotel.

3 stars for ale range and condition. Beer was local and Landlord was knowledgeable. The hospitality was less welcoming however, perhaps he'd just had a long hard day. Please note this pub is not wheelchair accessible by any practical definition and the only wheelchair accessible toilet facility, which is still inaccessible, is located within the ladies toilets only. A shame as I was hoping this would become my local having moved to the area. Good room facilities which my visitors often use, but sadly we can't use this pub so go elsewhere.

Wouldn’t recommend this pub/restaurant to anyone.We had to wait over half an hour for our starters which came out completely raw (see photo). When we made the staff aware they didn’t seem surprised or at all apologetic and just came out with a replacement which was also very poor in quality. They did take the starters off the bill but nobody seemed bothered at all about this completely uncooked chicken.The mains were also very disappointing and consisting of some dry meat and reheated potatoes with other veg.I’m not usually one to complain but was very disappointed in this Sunday roast that we wanted to enjoy with friends.

Absolutely perfect. Robin, family and the team always go the extra mile. Superb rooms, great food, great beers! Still great in 2023.

Ridgewell White Horse
Stayed for 1 night with friends due to a Competition within the area, location for us was great (10 mins drive to comp), room very comfortable, clean and spacious, breakfast was one of the best we have had, an evening meal and few drinks on arrival, meal were prepared fresh to order, tasty, all staff very welcoming, as we were so pleased with finding the White Horse we are booking again for next year.

Ridgewell White Horse
Absolutely shocked. I did not expect to find such an amazing stay, great food, and such a friendly Landlord / Owner. I also liked the fact that there wasn't a TV in the bar area, but instead comfy, and local folk willing to chat and make me feel welcome.I will certainly be coming back.
