The Gold mine has a nice selection of Gold Jewellery including chains, pendants and rings. The shop owner is polite enough, however historically they have offered far less than scrap value on any items taken in and will pay you the least for your jewellery of any pawn brokers in Lowestoft (Tested wth multiple items). With Cash in (a 20 second walk down the road from The Gold Mine) offering the most with scrap buy-in prices similar to that of those in london and birmingham.

BANDITS,. Very clever sales tactics to draw custom through the door. They are good at talking, they will sell sand to the Arabs. Go 100 metres to the high-street and don't listen to their waffle when they pull their little eye glass out. Had a few encounters most recently they charging £10 more per small job than respectable neighbours. Was offered £50 for a ROLEX not long ago because they could only value the scrap" gold (Genuine Rolex). They are strategically placed near the Job Centre where people are desperate. DO NOT TOUCH."

I purchased 3 rings from here yesterday. A fab selection of rings in particular. I'm surprised at the other reviews, a chap named Marcel chatted with me, friendly, personable. I will definitely be making a return visit when I'm back in the area.
