Millcroft Veterinary Group Cockermouth
A really welcoming surgery with some lovely, friendly reception staff. I have always had the utmost confidence in the Veterinary Surgeons here. Fortunately, we haven’t had to go too often but when we have, the vets are very thorough, understanding, take time to explain things well and seem to genuinely love their work. I’ve always felt the prices to be fair. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Millcroft Cockermouth is a great practice, I have full confidence in the team there, Claire has taken excellent care of Orri from puppy to adult of six years.The staff and vets looked after my other four spaniels through their lives and care for them at the end of life.I fully recommend Millcroft and all the caring staff working there, great practice.

Walked into vets to make an appointment and was pleased to be seen almost straight away as there had been a cancellation.My dog Blue was limping and would not let me near his paws.After checking him over I was advised to keep an eye on him as nothing untoward could be found. He is still limping on his back left leg but now will let me near it so he has improved. I will return to the vets if he doesn't fully recover.

This was the first time I visited as recently moved into area. The staff were friendly, and professional. The vet that saw Rambo a lovely lady, explained everything to me very clearly. I shall not hesitate to take my dog back, and sorry I could not remember the vets name.

Great team, so helpful and kind when I arrived with a distressed cat who’d had a toilet accident in his cat box. They couldn’t have been more understanding. When my other cat was seriously ill their response and care was brilliant and they handled a panicking owner with tact and great kindness.

Recently joined this Vets after relocating. The Staff were very friendly, professional and the Vet concerned with my very nervous Cat, a rescue, was excellent. They made Amber feel at ease and the appointment went well.The Surgery itself was clean and neatly presented.I would like to express my appreciation to all Staff from registration to appointmentI would recommend this Surgery.

Had an emergency while I was in Cockermouth and phoned this vet hoping they'd be able to see my fur baby. They could! Staff were lovely, so friendly and helpful. The vet was very nice too. Fur baby all taken care of and at a very reasonable price. Fantastic practice in my opinion. I'm not with this vet practice but I kind of wish I was.

Thank you so much for trying to help honey she was just to poorly but she put up a good fight. Thank you to all the receptionists, nurses and vets for the daily updates, all the phone calls I made to you for advice and all the care, medication and surgery you did for honey. Unfortunately we all did what we could but she was just to sick. You have been amazing from start to finish and you made saying goodbye to my baby so special. Thank you for everything you all did for her. Not the news we all wanted for her but I’m happy she is at peace now. Thank you for all your kindness and care throughout from start to finish.
