The Tall Frog

Best chicken pie ever. Amazing products. Lovely deli in the suburbs.

Having tried to get my favourite oat milk iced latte from a well known bakery chain, who didn't do any, we walked to the Tall Frog two minutes away and got the most delicious one there. Served with a smile and obviously lots of love I can honestly say that was the best iced latte in West Bridgford (No. 8 a close runner up). Thank you to the lovely lady who served me with a smile (and to the lady outside the bakery chain who very kindly recommended her!) I wish I'd taken a photo of the said work of art but next time!!! I was too keen to taste it - :) Highly recommend!

Fantastic place, delicious pastries and coffees…polite staff

I entered the shop with hope and excitement for my morning coffee, but what transpired left me feeling deeply hurt and marginalised. It pained me to feel the weight of racial profiling as I stood there, longing for the same courtesy and attention afforded to others. The minutes stretched on, each second an ache in my chest, as I watched the waiter darting back and forth from the till, seemingly oblivious to my presence. In that confined space, it felt as though my existence was reduced to mere background noise, my time deemed less valuable being a local business owner pained me even more. It's disheartening to confront such disparities in treatment, especially in a place that should be welcoming and inclusive for all. In the midst of this disheartening experience, the demeanor of the woman serving me only added to the pain. Her words dripped with a palpable rudeness, her posture exuding an air of arrogance that cut through the already tense atmosphere. All I had yearned for was a simple cup of coffee, a humble request that should never be met with such disdain. In that moment, I wished for nothing more than to be seen, acknowledged, and treated with the basic dignity and respect that every customer deserves. Regrettably, this experience has left an indelible mark, one that I cannot simply overlook. It is with a heavy heart that I will not be returning to this establishment. The memory of this day serves as a stark reminder of the importance of treating every individual with kindness, fairness, and respect. I hope that, in time, this shop may reflect on its practices and endeavor to create an environment that welcomes all, regardless of race or background. Until then, I will seek solace and nourishment elsewhere, in places that truly value the humanity in each customer who walks through their door.29/10/2312:30pm.

Great Deli with a good range of scrumptious delights. Takeaway selections too.

Food is very lovely and they have the best drinks but very poor service from lady at till on the morning of 12th July 23. Just chatting away and a bit rude.
