Beautiful countryside. You couldn't ask for a more scenic place to row!The rowing club is shared by City of Sheffield Rowing Club, Sheffield University and Sheffield Hallam University. They occupy two sheds. The club has a kitchen which doubles as an indoor training area. There are separate male and female changing rooms with two (hot) showers and a single unisex toilet. The club isn't connected to main electricity but a generator enough provides power for lighting. The land and reservoir are owned by Yorkshire Water. Swimming and kayaking are prohibited. Fishing and sailing are permitted.Often during the Winter the water level drops drastically but the Spring rain will fill the reservoir back up.
