City Barbers

Over the years I have been to so many different barbers and never been that satisfied with the results. That was until I tried City Barbers. Clare always does an absolutely amazing job. Her banter isn't too bad either... couldn't recommend her more to anybody looking for the best haircut in Inverness. Thank you again.

Went for a hair cut yesterday and asked for a skin fade and the lad went far too high on the sides and right to the top of the back of my hair. Really unhappy with this service yet I've had brilliant cut in the past from others there. Will spend the next couple of months at least in a beanie. Likely won't return.

Good option if you're at the retail park for some of the big shops. A little pricey compared to other independent barbers. This might be to do with their premises being inside Tesco itself, so that attracts a premium for convenience. Haircut was fine but just as good as some cheaper alternatives.

Won’t use this barber again or recommend for anyone to use with children. Especially young ones who may cry whilst adjusting to the experience of a haircut. My son who is under 2 had his haircut done today by one of the ladies. We explained to her that he’ll cry regardless and to just go with it as he was well overdue a trim. What a botched job and for £12 too, what a flipping rip off!! The sides still have long bits left that were missed, the top of his hair or his fringe looks ridiculous like it was cut myself and not by a professional. And not to mention the uncomfortable comments made by the lady… “I’ve never heard a child cry so much” “it’s crazy how much he cries”. Not what a parent wants to hear when their child is clearly upset. Some comments are best left unsaid. It’s quite outrageous. My son has had trims elsewhere in the past and they’ve NEVER made a mess of his hair like this despite the meltdowns. Unsure if this lady has cut childrens hair before, but the way my sons hair looks after, I wish I had left it uncut. We've just moved to the area and we’re told this place was alright, but definitely DONT RECOMMEND for parents with children.

Really good barbers, not had a disappointing cut yet. Friendly and efficient. Uses Qjunkie app for booking so no queues at the place. Can book up quickly at busy times. Inside Tesco store, so lots of parking. Staff go out of their way to accommodate the clients. Really nice

Very friendly staff. Took my 6 year old for a haircut and the lady who we had was great, she chatted to him all the way through and the cut was perfect, even with his very tricky cows lick..efficient team too, didn't have long to wait

This is definitely the best hairdresser in the highlands. Apart from their expertise….my son has never had a better haircut, thank you Erica…..the atmosphere is just lovely, chatting away to customers, having a laugh….looking after elderly clients with such gentle respect. The way barber shops used to be, a real wee community. So impressed by them all with their easy smiles and warmth. Thank you.
