It's seems they syphoned all the salt out of the Irish sea and put it all on my salt and pepper chicken. With all the expense of extracting all the salt it seems they couldn't invest in any thickener for the curry sauce that my nothing special about it curry came in. Rice was bang average at best. Duck pancakes were alright only redeeming feature. Rather eat the black stuff under Charlie Dimmocks finger nails.

Honestly, worst Chinese ever, I don't understand the rest of the good reviews on google. 100% no taste buds. Vile food spent £20 on food not one good thing to say as chips undercooked, fried rice disgusting black bean sauce ok that's it. 100% never again shame delivery driver was lovely. Insult to Chinese culinary.

Always have an amazing meal, tonight was not good...... they said they were busy when I rang, and boy, when the food came, you could tell they were busy....... not the best........ such a shame, it was night off cooking.....

Spent £35 for a family of 5, The food was disgusting. Beef wasn't anything like beef, the food was bland and dry, not very warm, The pancake rolls were burn't, and I have never known a chinese not do curry,chips and rice in a tray, when i asked if they did this, the woman who was in charge of the kitchen, shouted no, its not on the menu, we wont do it, Very bad attitude and arrogant. Wont be returning here again.

1st time use last night, curry and chips is my dish and absolutely bang on. Mrs had chicken and cashew nuts with egg fried rice and again just right. Was there at 6pm and the deliveries were flying out with people picking phone orders up and two of us waiting outside for our orders. Looking at reviews guess you can't please all of the people all of the time.......

Bland and tasteless. The combo crispy fried chicken and beef in chilli sauce was like a bad sweet and sour. Chips were awful; the fried rice was worse - like sawdust. Beef curry was totally inferior too - runny and insipid. Real waste of money - a shame they eventually answered the phone to take my order. This is one place to cross off my list. Felt like I wanted to puke for a couple of hours after the few mouthfullsI had. Don't bother with this place!

Really lovely takeaway. The staff are so nice and kind. We've always had excellent food from Maxim House and try to visit every time we're in the area. Recommended.

I only buy veg vermacili very nice, i get quite a lot for the price, quick service, would recommend.
