The team at Portfield have been exceptional from promptly informing me of viewings to daily updates prior to completion.I had a very complex sale that has been challenging for myself and all the staff, in particular Tanya who has kept me posted all the way.They are a very professional, friendly team who always get back to you with any queries you may have.I would highly recommend using this company and cannot thank them enough for the service they provided in what was a very difficult time for me.

Selling my mum's house was always going to be a difficult and stressful time. The staff at Portfield made it as easy as possible. They were always helpful and knowledgeable, assisting us towards a successful sale with, hopefully, a happy purchaser. who is now enjoying living in their new home.

Communication with them was good, however we went to view a To Let property and the estate agent, think his name was Neil, never greeted us at the door or showed us in, instead he sat in the living window and told us to come in and remained there the entire time. It is my understanding that estate agents are supposed to show you around the property, talk about it's features, what work has been done or will be done, and ultimately sell you on going in on it.This was the first time I've ever experienced this at a viewing and I was quite shocked, and this was ultimately a big part of the reason we decided not to go for it, letting not only the landlord down but the company in my opinion

We had been recommended to use Portfield Garrard & Wright by our daughter who had previouslyused them to purchase her new home and we weren’t disappointed!The team at Portfield we’re excellent in providing a first class super efficient and very personalservice. All staff were extremely polite and helpful at all times and especially Tanya who handled everything from our initial phone call to put the property on the market to completion, she would keep us up to date with the progress of the sale and always returning our phone calls withpositive and reassuring advice.Would definitely recommend this company.......an absolute pleasure!Huge Thank you Tanya and the team.

Unbelievably terrible, put an offer in I was told it was accepted but I would l need to provide prof of funds, etc. They suggested I email all my personal details. I emailed them asking if they could send them the details in a mode secure manor. They just black holed my question, never got back to me. I tried calling a couple of times but they were closed, not a problem but they just never chased and now sold the house to someone else. Disappointed doesn't cover it. I complained but nothing they can do. Can't take the house off someone else.Could not recommend them for selling or buying. imagine trying to sell using this company. You would never know if they have got anyone interested if they just can't be bothered to follow up. 0 competency from there actions and attitude when I spoke to them.

I've been a tenant via this agency for just over 6 months. From the moment of walking through the front door on the first viewing to our recent inspection, the staff from this company have been warm and friendly while maintaining a professional demeanor. Our house was exactly as advertised, absolutely lovely and in the perfect location for us, and when we had an issue with our plumbing after a cold snap it was resolved quickly. The staff were flexible around our working hours when it came to viewings and signing for the property, and again when it came to organising the plumber and the inspection. I would wholeheartedly recommend using this agency to anyone.Edit to add: After moving out we got our full bond back with absolutely no shenanigans. Sad that it's noteworthy really, but still.

Me and my partner recently bought our first house through Portfield Garrard & Wright and we've had an amazing experience with the staff from start to finish. The staff were brilliant seeing us through the process; especially Tanya who who went above and beyond and was always quick to answer any queries and help with anything we needed.
