Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is basic, clean and tidy but very dated and 'tired' looking. It's the first time I've had liquid soap provided in a paper cup!

Very basic place to stay, overall clean with comfy bed. No amenities, no pub, bar, restaurant, but services are nearby with Costa and burger king. Offered a 'to go' breakfast, but didn't pick it up so I don't know what they're like. Ideal for short overnight stays.

Greeted by staff smoking front of house. Corridors stank and not hoovered. Dried blood on sheets. Ring of muck round bath. Checked out immediately with staff who was management not bothered.1/10 is just for location

Nice view and quiet no traffic near. Free parking but must give reg at reception or Will incure fine. Good place to sleep before a long journey.

Stayed here last minute. One night. Staff very friendly and attentive within the boundaries of what this 'hotel' offers.The room was basic and as expected really .. except .. it was dirty! Toilet had previous 'visitors' poo in it. Sink had previous visitors toothpaste splatters. Used tissue screwed up with spare pillows. Etc. Sadly, this really was an unpleasant 'welcome' and completely unnecessary. And not helped by the unfortunate we've got a lovely clean room ready for you" welcome comment by a staff member.So .. sadly

Most of the staff was friendly... Rooms are the worst I've stayed in over all the travelodges, I've stayed in over the country! Dirty curtains apple cores still in the bin from previous guest's. The water pressure was a joke especially when the person in a room next to you was showering too! No sockets beside the beds. Now this would be ok but the prices was more than I've payed in London!

We stayed here in August 2023. We had a family room and an ordinary room. We read the horror reviews on the way, but we found it to be clean, friendly and reasonable. Sure, the place could be upgraded and the bathrooms renovated but overall it was okay. Nearby, stunning views of the original Severn Bridge and the original 1966 services. A perfect location for a psycho-geographic tour. Give it a go. Always look on the Brightside of life. David Lynch would love it as a location.

Great staff and very handy for the Severn Bridge, south Wales, Bristol, Weston-super-Mare and the general area.However the hotel is dated and tired. Carpets are dusty and stained, shower curtains are worn, TV remote filthy. Bedding is clean and beds comfortable but it's in dire need of TLC. For a few nights, it's fine, and it's pet friendly too.
