MR Paving

This was the second time we have had MR Paving to undertake work for us. Aug 2020 Pete and his team removed our existing hard standing and patio area and replaced with some great looking Indian sandstone. Pete also re-turfed our lawn to finish the job off. Pete was extremely competitive in his prices and him and his team worked extremely hard through some very hot days.Based on this job we asked Pete to give us a price for removing our existing concrete drive and decorative wall, and replace with tegula blocks. We had to wait for Pete as he is extremely busy due to his rates and quality workmanship. Well worth the wait though as another fantastic job that looks great with a wallet friendly price.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pete and his MR Paving team.

We wanted an extra block-paved parking space and a new gravel strip to mark the boundary with the neighbouring property. We had seen Mr Paving doing similar work in the area and spoke to some of the householders who had had the work done, who recommended Pete. When he came round to give a quote, he was more enthusiastic than some of his competitors and answered some of the questions that we had in mind before we even asked them. When the work was done, his team was friendly, hard-working and cheerful, clearly happy to be doing a good job and cleaning up afterwards. It was a very hot day indeed. They interacted well with curious children from the play area opposite our house. Pete took trouble to ensure that we were happy with what was done. He exceeded expectations with his desire to ensure that our lawn could reach right up to the new gravel strip and that it could be mown without any problems being caused by the mower catching pieces of gravel. We're very pleased with what he did.

Pete transformed the front of our home in October 2020 with a new gravel drive and block-work paths. Nothing was too much trouble. He took great care in setting out the path curves until we were really pleased. He even came with me to the builders merchant to select two different packs of mixed rustic blocks so they would give a pleasing random appearance. And he called back some weeks after completion to ensure that all was still perfect. I thoroughly recommend him and his team for professionalism with pride in delivering a good result. MR Paving created a new block paved driveway and path replacing a gravel drive, two manhole covers, a slab footpath and laid a new lawn. From our initial phone call to completion of the work the service was exceptional. We asked for two quotes and received these promptly and outlining details of all the work to be undertaken. Before making our decision Pete was happy to answer all our questions in a professional manner we felt that nothing was too much trouble but at the same time there was no pressure to make a decision. Pete and his team completely transformed our drive installing block paving. The team were very thorough finishing the job to a really high standard and always going the extra mile, it is clear that as a team they are very proud of their work and that they always strive for perfection.They left everything tidy at the end of each working day, including washing down the path and road.We were really impressed with how thoughtful the team were particularly when they chose to do some tasks a slower way by hand so that our pet rabbits were not scared by the noise of the machinery.We would absolutely recommend Mr Paving to others and we already have them booked in to come back and transform our back garden.
