I've been to this cinema on multiple occasions before, and I have to say, it's not exactly great. I haven't been in years, but I feel like this cinema has run it's course. The website is like viewing a website from the early 2000s, which is not good in 2023, ticket prices are expensive, sound is alright, major neck cramps with Screen 1, where you have to crane your head upward to actually see the screen, and Screen 2 is the only decent screen there. As much as local businesses are nice to a town or city, this one ain't it I'm afraid. I'd rather trek all the way to Vue in Inverness if I were to go to a cinema again.

Nice little cinema but could do with an upgrade particularly the seats. These were a little uncomfortable watching a 2 1/2 hour movie. Staff friendly and helpful and will certainly go back.

Best cinema I've ever been to - forget your Imax, or chain places, this place is family run and has been since the 1960's. Staff are friendly, seats are superb (big bucket jobs so you never have to worry about the 7foot tall bloke blocking your view), and the sound and projection systems are second to none. I've been a professional sound engineer for over 30 years, and if I had designed a surround system, this is how I'd build it - proper power amps for all of the 7.1 system, and a top of the line decoder that means I can go to a cinema without needing ear defenders.Looking forward to the next Dune film which I will be going here for.

Promised my son 5 nights at Freddys. Checked times. And there's was couple of them on 31/10/23. TRAVELLED to Moray playhouse and it is closed. Was nothing on website that they would be closed on that day. My son was really disappointed as he was looking forward to movie. :(

3 stars for the friendly staff, however, the rest is a 0. The place is absolutely disgusting and clearly does not get cleaned. It's a real shame.

Not my favourite cinema but I went to see the Barbie Movie as a spur of the moment thing!£11 a ticket ( cheaper at vue) and I found the place bloody freezing!

Very welcoming and friendly staff.Sadly the building and decor are looking tired hence 4 stars, however this NO reflection on the lovely staff.

Love this place. Staff are amazing, super friendly. Sound quality is good for the smaller independent places. Would always rather go here than a big chain.
