YHA Brighton Hostel

I booked here because it was the cheapest hostel.I found a room with a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed.The common areas were always clean and well furnished.Super friendly staff.As an inexpensive solution I fully recommend it.

Amazing location by the beach, but there might be such a thing as TOO central! It was fine on Tuesday and Wednesday night, but Thursday night the massive crowd outside made it sound like there was a party actually inside our room! Ear plugs all round and it meant we had to close the window so it got very hot.However, it is an amazing place to stay and when the extensive building work outside is complete, it will be even nicer. We loved having a view of the pier from our room and the age of the old hotel.

We've had an amazing experience here. The location is beautiful, close to beach, pier, and centre. We got a room with seaside view. The room was quite spacious and tidy with a TV which was another plus. The bathroom exceeded my expectation, very clean and good looking. The staff were super nice and friendly, helpful. Let us check out later than usual for extra fee. They also have a bar downstairs. The coffee was really nice. Altogether, a good experience and I'd recommend if you're looking for a cheaper accommodation and central location.

All and all good experience!! Staff is polite and on point!! Got a very good family room with sea side view!! Don’t expect a 5* room as it’s budget accommodation!! Very close to 360*, Brighton beach and many scenic spots!!

I stayed here a few years ago for one night. I booked a private room so cannot account for full shared accommodation. My room had a double bunk bed, was very large, great views, and a big modern bathroom with a bath and shower. The facilities overall were modern and aesthetic, we were in and out quickly though (checked in around 8pm, went out and returned 3am, left next day by 10am)

Horrible experience! The staff treated us inhumanly and inconsiderately. The room was booked for 2 people but we happen to a third person at 2 am due to flight delays and requested the hotel for either a room provision or any suggestion to spend a night or a refund. They shouted at us as to why be generous enough to even suggest how to spend a cold night leave alone allowing to use the washrooms. Such inhuman monsters running the hotels are not appreciative when hotels are there to provide you shelter and hospitality. I would recommend to choose your stay in QUEENS hotel in Brighton than here. Its more grand and beautiful and staff there is more professional and generous.

'theWorstHotelEver'My recent encounter with the hotel staff was nothing short of a nightmare. In a time of desperate need, as we sought shelter in the dead of night, they displayed a shocking lack of compassion and consideration for fellow human beings. We were left feeling unwelcome, vulnerable, and abandoned in a time of crisis. The utter disregard for our situation was not only inconsiderate but truly heartless. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone seeking basic human decency in their hour of need.

Not a good place to stay for vacation purpose as they keep disturbing your peace and sleep. The front desk personnel was also rude and didn't know how to communicate with the Travellers and customers. Just poor professionalism.

Spacious, courteous helpful manager, 24hour reception.The room was clean and large, they don't 'cram beds together' which is nice for a comfortable stay.Perhaps the ceiling lights could be a little less bright, and individual lockers provided.Facilities seem comprehensive, with a bar and ace to mix or chill - and it's great that there's an elevator.

Reasonable prices for a very good hostel with a great location, right next to a lot of things in Brighton and east access to the buses and train station! The rooms are clean, but there wasn’t any lockers in mine, so be careful. Also the first time I had a bathroom IN a hostel dorm, definitely a plus! The lack of kitchen or fridge was a bit disappointing, but there is great places to eat and shop around.
