Parking arrangements are ridiculous, in fact non-existant. Parking is in the shopping centre car park where you can only pay for 4 hours at a time, overnight you can pay but only until 8am, you cannot top up until your existing session runs out. A friend received a ticket at 3 minutes past 8 even though she was attempting to extend her time which she did at 4 minutes past. No consessions for Travelodge guests.

Nice travelodge. Parking is a 5 min walk and not overly cheap no big deal unless you have lots of luggage. No restaurant attached but local places to eat. Family room was a little small for us. Do not use the vending machine doesn't work, might be good to able to buy water from the front desk although Iceland is next door. Staff were friendly. Nice location for walking into town. A place to stay for 1 or 2 nights not longer..reasonably priced for Dorset.

The room was good as it was comfortable and clean. We got fresh towels every day and the TV had lots of channels. However, the parking was a nightmare as there weren't many available spaces near all the shops. Also, the view on the first floor was a wooden fence thanks to the Iceland building next door. It was difficult to get the hotel staff to renew our bins every day but overall, they were friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant stay but we probably won't stay here again due to parking.

A friendly welcome at reception is a good start and the lady who checked me in is always working hard around the hotel and nothing is too much trouble.Next to many shops which you need as this hotel doesn't have a kitchen or bar.Only has two floors so don't expect any high views. Comfortable, clean and a pretty good stay.

Just back from an overnight stay, room was nice and fairly clean, odd dusty spots. Right in the town. 4 stars as breakfast is not good a grab bag, no parking and room slightly dusty. But, reception listened when I asked for a quiet room, which it was. No communial bins in the corridors or reception.

Stayed here for work told we couldn't check in till 3pm the receptionists disappeared for 20mins then managed to get 7 rooms for us eventually got our room keys and 2 of us couldn't get in the rooms told she was coming up to sort but was chatting with other staff members in the lobby no hurry to sort the issue place smells of dog wee and sweat rooms are full of damp we ordered food and waited 2hours was cold when it arrived gang of young lads In and out the hotel every 20 mins very suspicious behaviour parking isnt ideal no lights leading from back carpark to the front of hotel the place needs a tidy up as it's poor for a so called travel lodge

Nicely situated in the town centre, so convenient for town centre attractions, facilities and public transport.Rooms are fair sized and modern. Cleaning could be a bit better though.

Location great with good access to local town centre, shops, tourist sights and only a 10minute walk to train station. Parking in area expensive and you have to pay for overnight. Rooms are good but head boards are hard and make a loud noise from neighbouring rooms if they are by mistake. Bathrooms only have a shower. Ours had poor drainage and felt cramped. Cost booking in advance is good price.
