Conningbrook Lakes Country Park
Like many other country parks around lakes, housing developments at one end and lake side walks around the other. Fairly bland walks, didn't see a great deal of wildlife.

Beautiful lake and fields, very well kept and tidy. Great place to walk dogs, although they need to be kept on leads when in the main field areas. The lakes have blue-green algae, so keep dogs away from the water.

Conningbrook Lakes Country Park
Took the family to the lakes, hoping to watch the model yachts. All entrances and gates were locked with no explanation as to why. From what we could see from the perimeter it looks as though minimal effort has gone into making this a recreational area worth visiting. I was left with the impression to that the focus was on creating an enticing residential development rather than creating a facility for the current inhabitants.

Beat place to have a walk around in ashford. Plenty of spaces to have a break and meditate, jog and have a picnic . Also the stour river runs alongside. Very beautiful

We enjoyed a very relaxing walk around the lakes - New picnic tables installed since our last visit and my understanding is that there are more on the way.There's a new coffee spot - Two Tones on The Lake - I understand they also do homemade pizzas on some evenings.A very rewarding visit.

Conningbrook Lakes Country Park
Took my autistic children to see the ducks , loved seeing the babies. The only thing I can say is to put a note on the entrance to let people know that anglers only to pass through gate as I drove in and got locked in if I knew I would of parked on the road up top but still a lovely place to take the family
