There is a family that social services are heavily involved with. These children are neglected on a daily basis and social services has been provided evidence of this happening. Social services sweep it under the carpet due to these people having a clean" house.Social services are notified of the neglect daily and also have evidence provided but they really couldn't care less. Disgusting!"

The worst council I have ever had to interact with in my lifetime.The council across many departments are simply incompetent, lazy and totally inconsiderate.I have been a Labour support all my life, but this Labour Council are single handedly ruining Newport.The basics are not being done correctly, let alone anything that requires a little bit of intelligence.It is civil servant's working for this Council that give all civil servant's a bad name.

Again they want your money but take months to reply last time it was 9 months this time it's 3 months something needs to give because they get there money they get there allowances to which they blew by I believe it was 2000% last year but helping the citizens takes a back seet hmmm really

Newport city council, led by Jane Mudd, has gone ahead with the 3 weekly bin collections. Point 4 of their leaflet explaining the change states we'll also be able to save money". Will this cost saving be passed onto the people actually paying council tax? Additionally

Touch wood ,I've never had issue with the council . We've always been able to book tip runs ,recyclables are collected & bins emptied .I guess we must be lucky .I've docked points as I'm unsure ATM how they work out 3 weekly bin collections work eg green ,orange ,? Surely there's going to be a week when neither bin is collected.Maybe they're waiting for orange bind to stop in winter .I heard the were giving us a list to explain .Who's idea was it to give us another bag ,that flies around in the wind as operatives won't wedge the bags in a bin
