The service I have received from all the staff there has been superb, someone always answers the phone and all staff are knowledgeable and helpful and always willing to support in any way which is great as buying and selling property is very stressful! Abbey and the sales team at William Makepeace estate agents provided excellent help and support during the very extended sale process for my deceased brothers property. They provided useful weekly updates on what was happening and maintained regular contact with my solicitor. It could have been a very stressful time, but they really helped and I can highly recommend them.

Izzy was very helpful in helping us find a suitable tenant as were all staff we corresponded with. We have used Samuel Makrpeace in the past and all tenants they found were excellent tenants.

An absolute shambles of an estate agency, with ridiculous double standards and very poor customer service. We had booked a viewing for a property, however ended up waiting for over 35 minutes in poor weather conditions for the agent to turn up to the appointment. The next day, we had another viewing with SM, but to be conducted by another agent, for a different property. We arrived on time, however the agent had already left and accused us of being late, saying he waited until 12.40, when in reality, we arrived on time at 12.30 and he was not even there - he had already left prior to our arrival. To them, it appears as though it is acceptable to make us wait but they cannot do the same and so accused us wrongly and lied about the situation - now unless we were wearing Harry Potter’s Invisibility Cloak, therefore he did not see us. We travelled for no reason and it was an utter waste of our time and money for travel costs. They had no decency to even contact us, we have to constantly ask where they are each time, showing a lack of regard to potential buyers/clients, not to mention they had left the gate of that property wide open.I would not even give them a one star to be very honest.

Wonderful company and staff; personable, professional and really listen (we largely dealt with Abbey). We were buying a property and the agents have made the process very easy; information we required has been communicated honestly and accurately, without any heavy sales lingo, which gave us the confidence and freedom to make the right decision for us.
