A great family day out especially when sunny. The beautiful scenery watching the stream flow slowly as the ducks play.Fantastic park for a picnic, plenty of parking and great facilities, ice cream and drinks from the cafe, toilets and a small park on site.It does get busy on warm sunny days but it’s well worth it as you can walk a little further and avoid the crowds.Great dog walk with children and dogs playing together in the shallow water.Wear trainers as some of rocks are sharp when paddling.

Nice place for a short walk. Did a sort of circular walk along the stream then up into the woods that look down onto the lower path and stream. Weather wasn't that great as we had a few light showers. Care needs to be taken on the walk through the woods as there are no barriers on some parts and its a long way down so be be mindful if you are with young children etc. Shame the cafe wasn't open (Sunday mid morning) as a hot cuppa would of gone down well. Toilets in car park ( £1 all day)were clean albeit a bit tired.Overall a solid 4 stars would of been more if cafe was open.

Lovely little place for a walk in the sunshine. We parked in the free car park and walked up to the other end where there is a cafe and toilets but this was in the week. I think this car park would be busy at weekends but there is a car park where the cafe is and it's £1 all day. Jus be aware the cafe is cash only

Amazing little country park on the edge of Louth. We arrived at the north car park (£1 for all day) which also has loos and a little cafe (cash only). The walk along the river is beautiful with lots of places to stop at for a quick picnic or even all day. Stepping stones are a lot of fun plus as you get to the southern end you turn back on yourself and go up hill and walk along the ridge line. Very steep edges with no barriers so go a little careful when walking but it's well worth it! Stunning views! Amazing place, highly recommended.

We drove here today for a nice relaxing walk, and to view the stream flowing through the park, it was absolutely stunning! Lots of duvks, people are allowed to bring dogs, but must be on a lead when walking on the paths, there are cycle routes, but it said no cycling, so might be on the outskirts of the park. There were lots of little stops where you can paddle on the stream, lots of kids playing in it, and was beautiful. We tried to go into the cafe, but it looks like it's run by volunteers, there was only one lady and there was a large queue of people waiting. There was crisps, snacks, chocolate, ice creams, and it is cash only. After, our walk around the park we were looking forward to using the playground, however, as you can see from the photo I took, it wasn't much, and was taped off. It's a shame, as there was plenty of space to make one. There are some toilets near the café, which is handy. And there are 2 car parks, one is free and the one near the café is £1 for the whole day.

Lovely place to visit with kids, it has always been clean and free of litter when we go. A nice little stream with bridges and stepping stones and lots of open space for picnics. The shop, cafe and toilets could do with a face lift which is why I haven't given it a full 5 stars but otherwise its a great day out.
