Took my son’s German shepherd yesterday to Melissa for the first time.So pleased with the results, very professional work, she looked beautiful and especially with her Xmas bandana on.Melissa, and all the other ladies present were lovely and welcoming to me and Skye.Would definitely recommend this business.

My beagle had a bath, brush, nail clip etc while he was at the daycare next door. He was lovely and clean and handsome when I picked him up, smelling a lot better than normal!I had been uncertain about booking him in because he'd never been to a groomer before, and he tends to be somewhat nervous and touch averse. He was apparently no trouble though, and seemed to have been well taken care of. I'll gladly book him in again in future.

We took our 2 newfoundland dogs on the 2nd June for the first time to Shampoochies. We had been going to a national store groomers but we had not been happy with them for some time.Victoria and her team made their assessment of our dogs they were forthright and crucially honest not exactly what we expected but true.I stopped with my dogs as one of them is a very stubborn and not happy going to the groomer.A Westie came in and the owner said it was agressive because she had seen the same national store groomer hit it with a brush to try make it behave. During the next three hours I saw Victoria dispite getting bitten a few times complete a groom talking all the while to the dog who fell asleep at one stage all with patience, care, love and understanding.A very special mention to Amy a young lady soon to qualify spenttime and patience with our very stubborn dog who to say the least enjoyed a groom.Booked again highly recommended brilliant place

Honestly, I drive 150miles round trip (and visit my parents at the same time), but the place cannot be praised too much. Having tried many different places for my pooch, she came away from every one like she couldn't escape any quicker, but not here. Getting her to come home is quite a task in itself, as she just adores everyone there, and clearly they treat her lovely. Never again will I take my little girl anywhere else, this place just cannot be matched. This is clearly a business run by people who adore their clients, not just a business focussed on quick profits. ❤️

We’ve been taking our dog here since we moved to Wakefield and I’m always so pleased with how he looks afterwards, and is taken care of whilst he’s there. Highly recommend!

Fantastic groomers, people are friendly and the woman who owns it, knows her stuff, she is fantastic with the dogs as well as her grooming skills. You dog is in safe hands with these people.THANK YOU

Mollie has been coming here for a few years and now my pup Eddie comes along too. The staff are great with the dogs. you are made to feel very welcome. Mollie is a very shy dog but enjoys her pampering. highly recommend Shampooches.
