I would highly recommend Brearleys solicitors. Jayne was amazing at dealing with my family legal matter. After dealing with other solicitors previously who didn’t grasp the situation at all, Jayne was reassuring and helpful. She had the perfect balance of capability and empathy. She helped me achieve the right outcome in court.She was quick at responding and understanding. She is now dealing with my financial matters too and I feel confident with her and her secretary Jill, they’ve been with me all the way, and I would highly recommend them.

Had an initial 30 minute free call as shown on website with Jayne Shorrock, call was positive and thorough, however work couldn't be completed on the case until solicitor returned from annual leave and once I had paid £300 on account. My case was too time conscious therefore decided to continue with existing firm, therefore did not deposit £300 and did not instruct Brearley's to work on my case. They then chased me for £219.00 for supposed work completed and threatened me with legal action, eventually settled on £179.50 and reluctantly paid. Lack of clarity and understanding on their pricing, so make sure you ask this when speaking with them. Left a very sour taste and would not recommend.

Conveyancing by Carolyn, assisted by Emma highly recommended. Contact was great throughout one failed into one successful transaction! Always professional and friendly and happy to answer any query by phone or email.

Handled my conveyancing really well & professionally. Bonus being I only ever dealt with one of two people so they knew what was going on at all times.I felt that they could occasionally have been a bit more forthcoming with information, however it only ever took a quick call to chase up information.They always called back when they said they would too, which is a bonus.Pricing was competitive with other firms locally. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Great service selling a house with these. Really quick we completed within 6 weeks as our buyer was pushing very fast and Brearleys kept up with it. They always communicated with us and the price was half the price compared to other companies. Will use again.

Fantastic place

I would highly avoid using these solicitors, based on my experience the woman Carolyn dealing with my sale, was very rude whenever speaking on the phone despite me being overly friendly every time. Then unfairly billed me when no work had yet been done on my sale without giving any opportunity to sort my sale out causing a great amount of stress and upset.

The company go out of their way to make sure that you have the best service possible thay do not cut corners an keep you informed all the way thay are second to none. Try them

Jayne was my solicitor and Jill her secretary and both were professional, communicative and considerate throughout.Jayne was easy to contact and on the few occasions she wasn't available, Jill was able to either give me the info I needed or to advise when Jayne would next be available to speak with me.My divorce case was very stressful, but the support and advice provided made it that little bit easier. The end result was fair, and that's largely down to the high standard of work conducted by Jayne.
