London England Temple

There's nothing to compare with the Temple experience, where our life transcends from being in time to being in Eternity. You feel the grace of God and his Holy Spirit here. Can't wait to go back there soon.

I visited the LDS temple while in Godstone. It was raining that day but nevertheless was a must see. The gardens are beautiful. The building is really striking and you can walk around it and have picnics on the grounds. The visitor centre was really interesting and the people friendly. Great day if you just want some peace, or equally for a wholesome day with the family. I’ll definitely be going back.

Such a beautiful campus, and beautiful feeling when there! It was great to stroll the grounds and enjoy the peace.

Wonderful place to visit even if you're not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints - the grounds are always very beautiful and peacefulif you are a member and able to go into the temple building, this is a real sanctuary from the storms of life - a place to find peace, encouragement, comfort and answers to important questions - has recently re-opened after a period of closure for refurbishment - looking forward to being there tomorrow!!!

I went there for the first time today and performed baptisms for the dead, cleanest place ever! Don't be nervous! The members are extremely kind !

Absolutely by pure luck we have come across this amazing temple when we were traveling to visit some other local attractions nearby.The London England Temple (formerly the London Temple) is the 12th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.The London England Temple was the second temple built in Europe, following the Bern Switzerland Temple (1955) and the first built in the United Kingdom.The Magna Carta was signed in 1215 in the same county of Surrey where the London England Temple is located.Located in Lingfield , just a few miles east of the London Gatwick Airport, near a very busy road and constant planes flying above, nonetheless you won't miss it as it is very easily to spot on.Lots of benches around to sit and enjoy this beautifully done place with a picturesque pond with ducks and paradise-like formal grounds.The temple grounds are one of the largest in the world, and you can easily spend a whole day here.The car park is available and decent size, but make sure of the time when they are closing the gates.We have visited the place on Sunday. Unfortunately the temple at that time was shut. So, definitely will be back again.

So wonderful place! So peaceful and beautiful! I loved walking around the park and just sit and meditate. The accommodation was very good. It's like a spiritual retreat to be here.

Built in grounds of an old manor house, the temple demonstrates what it is to be part of a manicured and designed landscape. This is not a bad thing as it's designs are all about making the area feel very peaceful.Highlights include the pond and bridge, the David O. McKay oak, the stream running across the property, the flower beds, and the run up to the front of the property. And this does not even include the temple itself.To members of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day saints, the temples are places where you make covenants with God and are given a world view that explains our place in life and our (humanities) ultimate destiny.The combination of the outside and inside aspects make the temple 5 stars.
