Best local butcher, stand out product will always be their chipolatas, sausage bap to die for. Steak is also incredible, happy to pay a little more for great local produce. Huge bonus is the local milk kiosk too, amazing how much plastic you can cut out when you ditch milk cartons. More business’s should champion things like this.We’re so lucky to have such a lovely independent shops in our hometown, welcoming and caring for so many locals and visitors. How many other towns in the UK can say their grandparents and great grandparents shopped in the same places as I do now. Just wish my busy life allowed me to shop locally all the time.

Excellent butchers. Great selection of meats. They sell peppered pork steaks which are excellent for bbq’s. The staff are friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced and always looks clean. Would recommend

Love this Butchers, great selection, good meat, and very friendly service. They are always happy to oblige with any meat requests. Other services include cooked meat, eggs and related products, The Milk Counter, and several pickle and condiment options.
