Mundesley Beach
Mundesley is the village that time forgot. But it is quiet, not a lot to do. The big hotel has closed down, only three places and two of those are takeaways. But as a family beach holiday it is superb. Lovely quiet beach and Cromer and Sheringham are only just a short run up the coast road for eating and amusements. Been there many times over the years for a short break and will do so again.

This is a lovely beach on the edge of a lovely village. Nice cliffs. Cafe at the beach edge. And public toilets on the beach edge as well. It has its own lifeboat Station and a coastguard lookout post as well. Making it a good safe place for a swim. Some cafes, shops, arcade and more public toilets and pubs on the cliff top road.

You can sit on bench and watching the sea on height or you can walk on sand in an almost long beach. There are facilities like parking, fish & chips, ice cream, mini golf, and also amusement places for children.I will go there more. Peace and calm. Its my favorite beach in whole of Norfolk now.

If you pick the right time, this is a great sandy beach. Be aware there is a steep path, so not for everbody. Limited restaurants, although there is Lucy's fish and chips next to beach path. Parking can be an issue despite a large car park.

This is without doubt the prettiest seaside resort on the Norfolk/Suffolk coast. The beach is breathtaking and lifeguarded too.We took a walk along the front on Sunday morning and saw surfing as well as paddle boarding.A beautiful sandy beach and well worth a look

Went for a nice walk with the dogs on the beach. As it was November there was hardly anyone else around so had pretty much the beach to ourselves with the exception of a few other dog walkers. Parked in car park, signposted as we got to the beach, with an overflow car park available too. Went to use the public toilet, but of course it was shut, as people don’t need to go to the toilet between November and Easter! Must be a mundesley thing as they were open at cart gap car park when we went there! Imagine it gets busy in the summer.

There are some reviews below from 'local guides' which have problems.1. The church car park is not free". There is a very clear obvious sign asking for donations towards the upkeep of the church and grounds

There’s a nice stretch of sand by the sea wall, otherwise it’s mainly pebbles. The sea was quite rough the day we went but fun to play in the waves. Lifeguards had marked an area between flags it was safe to go in the water. Our day was somewhat spoiled by a plague of tiny spiders floating on the breeze, they were everywhere. Just became a chore pulling the off you/clothes/pushchair etc. Apparently locals say this normally happens in September, so was early this year. Toilets available

Mundesley is a gem on the Norfolk coast, its small enough that it's never overly busy there is plenty of close parking a few small facilities and the fish and chips taste great. The beach is really nice and safe with lifeguards on duty.

If you are looking for quiet , calm and very clean beach in Norfolk then this should be your destination. This beach especially has very long tides and in 4 hours of our stay we could see the sea retreating way back from where we were exposing pristine sand bed with polished rocks . This is an excellent beach for bathing too with coast guard continuous monitoring in place . In addition to that Mundesley is a beautiful sea side village . So all together it’s a hidden gem
