It's fairly basic in terms of services, but it has everything you need. A hot shower with good water pressure, fresh water for rinsing dishes and drinking, clean toilets and plenty of space for setting up a tent on flat ground.I got invited to a dance class happening in the adjoined public hall and there is a guest book which you can write in about your stay which adds to the welcoming atmosphere :)

Just come back from staying, spent seven nights there camping.Its a great little site, we were often the only ones there, basic but modern facilities but what more do you need. Great location to explore the whole of Shetland. Would highly recommend

A community hall with hard standing across the road. Electricity, after, garbage and chemical dump. Lovely bathrooms. Quiet with lots of Shetland ponies in the fields. Recommended

This is a querky little site - basically a car park, with hook ups and taps, for every pitch. Facilities are the ladies and gents loos, in the hall + use of the disabled shower cubicle. There are recycling bins and elsan disposal point. Please note; only green chemical fluid can be disposed of as it's a septic tank. Also pitches are sloping so levelling blocks are essential. We loved it here. Remote and beautiful views and walks, to be had. Just our type of countryside.

Volunteer-ran caravan and camping site with facilities within the hall.£8/night for tents£16/night for campers and caravansDecent Shower, toilet and water point.Stayed for one night at the end of a cycling tour as was the ideal location just 25km to lerwick. On arrival call the number of the committee member in charge that week which is on the board seen though the front door of the hall.“Socks”, the star of the mobile phone ad lives nearby but sadly we couldn’t find him!

Useful spot to camp as sheltered and every facility. Plenty of picnic tables, immaculate loo and shower. Chemical toilet disposal was green only but easy to use.

We stayed one night, toilet and shower in the disabled toilet, Electric hookup and water, with hard standing. Every thing you need for an evening, but wouldn't stay any longer.
