National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

I called in to see why my tyre alarm had gone off and one of their technicians 'checked' my tyres and told me I had 5 punctures in my nearside rear wheel and would need a new tyre. I had already told them I carried a spare and I asked if they could change that over and I could get the 'damaged' tyre replaced later as I needed to be at work.The technician then took my car down and told me they couldn't do it because they were too busy - when there were no other cars when I arrived and the customer after me, who needed 4 new tyres (and was booked in for lunchtime) was told to just pop out for a coffee and they could do it straightaway!Funnily enough, I took my car to my local garage later and there was no damage at all to the tyre.I am an older customer and I feel they were trying to rip me off.

We bought the tyres through tyre shopper and we used the mobile service - so easy. National tyres,Rotherham was the nominated centre for our area. The chap that came was amazing!! I would highly recommend! He knew his job, had all the tools on his van, friendly,efficient and knowledgeable. Would without a doubt use again when required.

Worse place too go has all new arm etc on vehicle when for tracking as said it was seized and also didnt even know how too start my vehicle an absault joke off company

The most helpfull experience I have ever had from a tyre shop absolutely brilliant staff.

Terrible workers with absolutely terrible attitudes. Waited an hour for them to say they couldn't even get the wheels off got home made a complaint they said every wheel nut was too tight. Cracked them all off with a wheel brace even tho they said it was impossible to get them off they also appear to have tried an impact gun on the locking wheel nut key there for warping the inside of the key so it doesn't fit any of the locking wheel nuts anymore. Wouldn't take responsibility didn't help me with my complaint just shows they are incompetent. Didn't even offer me to take the tyres IV ALREADY PURCHASED elsewhere. Needless to say I have a complaint logged in there system.

we had our car booked in for full service and MOT 11/05/22 we where originally told to collect the car after 2.5 hours, plans were made around work to be able to do so.An hour passed and we received a telephone call stating that they hadn’t yet started the service but had noticed that all 4 tyres where illegal and needed replacing urgently, we explained that we did not agree with what was being said as just one month prior we had all 4 tyres replaced with part worn tyres which had 6mil left.We were then told that the front springs where not mounted in the correct position, a bulb was out, front brake discs where worn and a rear coil was broken and it would be £742 for it to be ready for MOT.Feeling that something wasn’t right we asked for the MOT to go ahead without the repairs we had been told we would “need” and where then told it would be a further 4 hours on top of the 2.5 hours originally we were told.The car did in-fact fail the MOT on the brake discs and rear coil spring but not even an advisory on anything else that had been mentioned, imagine if I had been silly enough to pay £742I was then quoted another amount of over £500 for the work to be done in order for it to pass, I paid privately and had new parts bought and put on and with the parts and labour the amount was £94 and it passed on retest.do your staff feel that it is appropriate to lie about a car to customersRipping people offI for one will not be using NT again

Place order for tracking got cancel untill next week changed car in that time frame emailed to cancel not herd any thing back

I normally don’t leave bad reviews but this time it was over my mega patience.The tyres are pretty good but the price isn’t the best and their service took ages to get it done. I had to wait from 11:10 to 1 pm just to get 2 tyres fitted in the situation that I had a booking at 11:30 and they said that I should get there with at least 10 min before the time booked.YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY AVOID NATIONAL TYRES FROM ROTHERHAM!!!
