A1 Door Stripping
A fantastic service.After speaking with Craig about having seven of our interior doors stripped back to a natural wood finish, he picked them up and bought them back just as he said he would.The finished and stripped doors are incredible and will make a great feature in our home.I cannot recommend highly enough.

These guys did a fabulous job dipping some pine window shutters. Came back beautifully stripped of paint. Very happy indeed.

A1 Door Stripping
I initially had 7 doors stripped , Craig came and collected them and at the same time discussed 4 cast iron radiators. Doors were delivered on time and at the same time collected the radiators. Doors and radiators were stripped perfectly and at a very reasonable price. What I liked most about Craig , is his honesty and non bias advice . I would definitely recommend him again . Excellent service with a friendly attitude.

A1 Door Stripping
We can't thank Craig and Mark enough, they have stripped 12 cottage style (Latch) doors for our home in Queniborough and Craig has always answered my calls and left me voicemails promptly in an attempt to arrange collection/delivery of the doors.The doors did not come back completetly paint free and Craig explained this honestly due to the paint used being oil based. We are still very pleased with the look of the doors and we think of them as rustic, which is perfect for our 200 year old cottage. The cost was reasonable too! I would have no hesitation in reccommending A1 Door stripping.Many Thanks

From first contact Craig was first class,polite and friendly and he explained the process/ possible issues that may arise, and again once he had examined the doors and table in person he gave a full explanation of what would happen. The turnaround for the work was less than a week and literally years of paint layers were removed by the process, leaving us with a fantastic base to do further restoration work.I wholeheartedly recommend A1.##EDIT; have now had further doors as well as the old paint encrusted locks stripped, again first class prompt service and good price.

A1 Door Stripping are brilliant. They responded to my enquiry almost instantly. Collected the doors on time and even carried them downstairs as I couldn’t. Warned me that it might take a few extra days due to the weather making getting them dry difficult but in the end they were returned on time. The doors look beautiful. I was really worried that they wouldn’t be salvageable but a coat of wax and they can last another 80 years. Would use them again in a heartbeat

A1 Door Stripping
A1 collected and stripped four internal doors for me. Being awful at DIY I thought it would be worth asking if they could do the whole job; i.e. sanding and waxing too. The doors came back today and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! They are even better than I hoped for! SUPERB! They are perfect! Not only that but from start to finish the communication and info from A1 was spot on, and great value. I also had the doors collected and delivered because I don't have a van. I am having my upstairs doors done later this year by A1. I can't recommend Craig and his team highly enough.

Great team and great service. Had all my internal doors stripped. On collection Craig was unsure if the process would work and agreed to test one door before committing to all. Once the test door was stripped it was bought back to me to ensure I was happy with the finish. Highly recommended and would use again!

We used the company for our internal doors (8 doors, all around 35 years old, all with at least 3 layers of paint). Craig was so so helpful, from the initial phone call (answered all my questions, even the silly/obvious ones) to the prompt delivery and everything in between. If I had more doors they would definitely go Craig's way :).
