I had the worst experience at the Scuh meadowhall branch (kids) yesterday (27.05.23 around 6pm) I have been going to this shop for years for my kids, since it’s getting hotter I wanted new shoes for my son, the staff weren’t helpful at all, they couldn’t find my son shoe size (infant size eu 19) they were very dismissive and weren’t bothered about my presences. I’m not sure how his shoe size couldn’t be found when I gave several shoe options and even size (eu 18-20) the shop wasn’t exactly busy but yet I had to go around asking for help. The particular staff in on this day were extremely unhelpful. I’ve never had this experience before at the shop I always walked out there happy and with my purchases. My last straw was when I asked one of the girls working there to get couple shoes for me to avoid sending her back and forth she got me two shoes that I didn’t even ask for and just threw them on the bench I was sitting on and said “ this is all I could find” and walked away without waiting for my response or my reaction. I was shocked and didn’t expect that, I waited couple of seconds to see if she turns around but nop she didn’t. I walked out of the shop so disheartened and went to JD sports despite the shop being busy i got served by friendly staff and got shoes for my son. I can never see my self at that shop again!

Went to buy some vans,but was none in store,They delivered to my house free of charge.

Staff couldn't even tell the different colour names of crocs or even If they could get a specific colour. Why sell em if you don't know the correct colour names of the products your selling.

Found some shoes priced up at £29.99 asked to try on in a size 9 and they went to get the shoes from the back. At this point a colleague came and took the price off the shoe I wanted and came with a different one and took me to the till and tried to charge me £64.99. I asked why and they said that's how much they were. I pointed out that the colleague had just taken the price off the shoes and she came up still with the tag in her hand clearly stating £29.99 she said she needed to speak to a manager. She came back and said I cannot have the shoes at the advertised price because they had priced them up incorrectly however I can have 10% off.In my opinion this is not acceptable and should have sold them for the price that they were marked as.

Good selection of shoes, but find it hard to get fitted - the staff are mysteriously absent. Bought from here twice in the last month, with the same poor service.

A great selection of premium range shoes, boots and trainers, well stocked for both men and women. Super friendly staff and great service.
