If I could give a negative review I would.I am a guest from a recent wedding (the bride posted a review only to have a disgraceful and extremely rude response from the owner, so I feel I also want to leave a review)The food was late. It was ordered for 2.30pm for a 2.45pm sit down and at 3.15pm there was still nothing. As a bridesmaid I rang multiple times and was finally told they had gotten lost and would be here soon. (The response to the brides post was that food arrived at 2.34pm so that is a lie)Upon arrival the young girl was rude and said she'd been working 6 days, had her young son in the car so couldn't help and needed to have the trays back ASAP. When the bar staff asked where the staff where to dish and serve they were rudely told there isn't anyone you need to do it yourself (if this isn't a service you provide why was this agreed with the bride) Ultimately this resulted in the bridesmaids and bar staff plating up and serving the food whilst the DJ kept all guests entertained due to the huge delay.There wasn't enough food to go across all the dishes and we ended up with 2 triangle sandwiches each. (I don't think that is acceptable) When another bridesmaid rang to query this we were told there was 4 triangles per person which meant there should have been over 200 to plate up. I really wish I'd taken a picture of what we had as I can guarantee hand on heart there was half the amount required. We did however get 1 small sausage roll each (generous eh) On this call the phone was put down on the bridesmaid.We rang again as understandably we were worried about the evening food. Fortunately the bar staff who run there own catering took the call for us so the bridesmaids could continue serving the food. They asked for the food to be delivered at 4pm so they could check over the quantity (and because they were so lovely said they would nip out to buy more food to bulk up the order if needed) I was present when this call took place and it was agreed that theFood would come at 4pm. Again we ended up chasing this after 5pm and was told they'd been sent to the wrong place first!So all in all it was extremely disappointing. The customer service was very poor and the response from the owner terrible. To only get a response after a review to me just goes to show the type of company!Never ever will myself or any of the guests use this company.

We got a cake from here for out wedding, couldn’t have been been happier with it everyone commented on how amazing it was and no lie best cake we've ever tasted! Couldn’t believe our luck even for the price shes dirt cheap so we didnt expect it to be as good!

Just had a leaving party and Marjory’s delivered cheese and onion and potato pies to the house. The quality of the food was amazing and everyone enjoyed it, delivery was on time and it was reasonably priced. Will definitely use this company again! Thank you!

This caterer is a 1 star rating meaning the food most likely will be contaminated, poor hygiene and nil management skills AVOID !!!!! FSA FOOD RATING you only get a 1 star if the management skills are really bad and the score goes off the cleanliness of the kitchen 100%

Amazing pie as always. Thank you for catering my wedding/ birthday party. The price for 120 guests was so reasonable and I know guests went back for more or took some home. Everyone complimented, and had full tummies. Definitely recommending you to everyone who needs catering.

We had the Traditional Buffet for 20 people and it was absolutely fantastic. The quality of the food and its presentation were first class. The quantity was extremely generous and the cost really reasonable. Everyone was very impressed. We thoroughly recommend Marjorie's!

I honestly cannot recommend anything. I ordered afternoon tea for 57 guests for the day of my wedding and 3 people to serve on the 29thJuly. The food arrived half an hour late, was short on numbers and no one to serve, it was dumped and left with not 1 person to serve, let alone 3. 3 of my guests and the wonderful bar staff helped to plate and serve all of the food. 2 people rang Marjories on the day, the first time to see when the food was arriving as it was late and there was no answer and the second time when the food was dumped and left by the young girl delivering and the phone was put down on them. The cakes were awful, literally supermarket cakes and not enough creme or jam for the scones. the evening food for 125 guests was 2 hours late, although guests commented that the quality was better than the afternoon tea. I have not heard back from Lisa as yet, who has left 2 x hot water urns, all pasta dishes, salad bowls, silver trays and around 30 sandwich trays which In my opinion demonstrates her lack of regard for good business and her awareness of what an utterly appalling job she did for us. I certainly will never recommend to anyone as I wouldn't want anyone to have to pay almost £2000 for a terrible service made with supermarket food!! I have given Lisa 1 week to contact me before leaving this review and have heard nothing - I've never left a negative review for any service before this....very, very disappointing!

Marjory and her team catered for us and 80 guest at our wedding reception. We had a traditional buffet . The price was perfect and the food was delicious. It outweighed my expectations. 100% would recommend to everyone and will be using marjory for all our future events. Thank you so much for helping make our day as perfect as it was .
