Good, excellent fishing but with the removal of the older trees because of safety reasons. It's looking a little bare and open, also can be very muddy, but managed very well by the Bailiff

Brilliant all round day ticket fishery, great match/course or carp fishing, from beginners to experienced anglers. Stock levels good carp go 30lb+, great bailiff happy to help always. season tickets are available once bailiff gets to know you but do sell out fast. Quiet location.

The day ticket lake, Ryson Lake, is a beautiful, natural venue with marginal lily pads, reed beds and a couple of overhanging trees.The lake is predominantly fished for its shoals of bream and tench, which reach specimen sizes. There are loads small roach, perch and rudd and the lake also contains good pike and the odd carp.If you're targeting the tench & bream, the rewards for effort are there but this is by no means an easy water. There can be distinct feeding spells throughout the day and long barren periods, but persistence and accurate feeding & casting will pay dividends.The lake is in a beautiful, tranquil, setting and is blessed with rich and diverse wildlife. In spring and summer, expect to see red kites, woodpeckers, cuckoos, maybe snakes and weasels too. A fantastic place to relax and take in your surroundings whilst awaiting a bite.The fishing pegs are mainly wooden platforms and the margins are fairly deep, so putting in banksticks can be difficult! Either take long, extending ones or - better still - use feeder arms or rests attached to your chair or box.

No day tickets and season tickets also. From three years I asking bailif about season ticket and always they are sold out, last time I asked if I can book a ticket for next year -2020 and of course no answer. Waste of time. If you are a foreigner you don't have any chance to buy a day ticket or membership.

Great place to fish particularly in winter,the summer fishing is good there too.

Very nice lake, dirt track leading to lake could do with some work as my van suspension won't take much more of that punishment.Although I never caught anything I will certainly return again in the warmer months to try again.
