Forth and Forage, Herne Bay

My sons booked me a foraging tour with Amy of Forth and Forage as it’s something I’ve been interested in for a while. We loved it as spending quality time together in the fresh air is great anyway but Amy is so knowledgeable about the surroundings that we will no longer, just walk past oblivious. She had specific things in mind to show us but when we asked about other trees, plants and flowers she knew all about them too. It quickly became obvious that Amy’s knowledge of our wild surroundings is vast but she also made it fun and relatable. Would highly recommend xxx

Joined Amy for the Bramble Ramble on the 3rd August. Loved every minute of exploring the hedgerows of a local park, and the hour flew by so quickly! Never knew there were so many edibles in such a small place that I would normally walk straight past. Amy's knowledge was amazing and the blackberry and common hogweed Flap Jack's were gorgeous! Will definitely be joining more foraging tours.

Amy took us on a fun and interesting foraging walk at Herne Bay showing us lots of different plants and how to use them. Would highly recommend !

Our group of 5 had the most interesting and enjoyable foraging activity in Herne Bay. Amy has vast knowledge about flora and fauna with a very engaging and down to earth manner in conveying it to her audience. We will definitely book more of these activities in each season to learn more from Amazing Amy. THANK YOU.

Amy knew her stuff, it was really interesting and with some lovely fellow foragers. Hope to do a longer session in the future as so much to discover about free food!

My daughter and I have just come back from spending some time with Amy learning how to forage. Even though it rained we didn’t notice it. It was so interesting and Amy is so knowledgeable. Within a 100 yards along The Downs we were shown how to identify some wild edible plants, how to spot male and female nettles amongst many other things and also the 3 rules of identification. It was a very enjoyable time and I would thoroughly recommend a foraging course with Amy.
