Been looking for awhile at potting benches, I came across this company through Google and the reviews were great. I was certainly not disappointed. Absolutely fantastic product and sturdy. Will last many years as the wood is a good quality pine. Potting bench as described and great customer service, tracked with free delivery and delivered on time. Very pleased I bought this from a British Business and would highly recommend.Very easy to assemble with straight forward instructions.

Ordered a table for our portable pizza oven, and the experience has been fantastic. The table is superb, very well made and of outstanding quality. The service is second to none, communication was very easy and efficient and the delivery was bang on time and completed by true professionals. Greenfields Wood Store is highly recommended and I would not hesitate to purchase items from them again!

Recently received my work bench from Greenfields Wood Store and I am extremely pleased with it. It arrived well packaged in two sections and did not take long to assemble. The quality of the wood and craftsmanship exceeded my expectations, almost seems too nice to use as a workbench in my shed! Although there was a couple of weeks to wait for delivery after ordering, the time was not as long as some other similar retailers. I was kept well informed of delivery date/time and it arrived as informed. If you are after a work bench don't buy from any where else, order now as you won't beat the value for money you get from Greenfields, solid quality wood is not a cheap material.

After much searching I came across Greenfields and found the exact type of bench we were looking for. The various options and sizes gave excellent choice and at a reasonable price. Knowing it was made to order having no next day delivering option was not an issue and we were kept informed about the order and delivery date throughout.The item was delivered as expected and well packaged. Following the instructions was fairly straight forward and we quickly completed construction (my one suggestion is to drill pilot holes were needed as it made things easier). We are really very pleased with the bench and would recommend Greenfields to everyone. Choice, quality and service.

Can't praise Natalie and Greenfields enough. My order for a wedging bench for my pottery studio was pretty specific with a number of custom features. Some of these features and changes took a bit of time to work out. Received nothing but supportive advice, patience and kind communications from Natalie during the protracted (my fault!) ordering process. When we finally settled on a design and a price (which was very reasonable indeed) the communications regarding postage were excellent. Delivery was extremely well packaged and bang on time. Outstanding service and product. (images show bench in situ - casters and 18mm birch ply work surface were added by myself)December 2021 Uodate:The bench has been tested by having considerable lumps of clay slammed onto it(!) as part of the wedging process. It’s rock solid - even with casters (my addition). If you’re thinking of ordering a middle shelf, be aware that the depth of the worktop frame and the frame of the middle shelf itself will limit the height of access to both of the storage layers. Other than that, perfect.

The order process for your 4 foot workbench was helped by Natalie on the phone, because I live in Guernsey in the Channel Islands. The whole process was smooth and Natalie was extremely helpful and efficient.The bench was shipped exactly on the due day and took just six days to arrive, much quicker than many smaller objects from other UK Companies.My wife and I , being in our mid 70s, put the bench together in two hours with very little effort (apart from the difficulties of age) and we feel sure that younger people could do this in half the time. I am delighted with this well made product and the service I received.I enclose a photo.

Sturdy table, and excellent communication about when to expect delivery, even with uncertain Covid-related delays. Straightforward to assemble, and takes 1L of Cuprinol Garden shades to cover it with 2 coats if you're wondering how much paint to buy!Pictures show Forget-Me-Not" colour."

Thank you for delivering to Northern Ireland! From ordering to delivery I got really good communication and updates. Easy one person assembly and wheels were already fixed which was great. Would highly recommend Greenfields and wish I'd gone to them first after being let down by 2 other businesses who didnt make it clear they didnt want business from Northern Ireland.

Bought a 3ft 6 in wooden work bench in February, with a custom height alteration. Very very happy with it. Arrived fast, easy to build and is very sturdy. One of those moments when a new bit of kit fits right into the workshop routine and you wonder how you ever managed without it. Using it as a station for drawing, tooling, stamping, riveting and also cutting/punching smaller pieces of leather.

Excellent product. I ordered a 5ft bench with an extra shelf and back board. This was delivered on time (by an courier with real-time tracking of the delivery progress) and was very well packaged. I couldn't see any instructions but it wasn't hard to work out how it needed assembling. It took longer than stated on the website, partly because of the extra shelf and board, but mostly because I had to work alone because of the social distancing in effect and the sections of this workshop are quite bulky. Overall, I am glad I chose this supplier and would recommend them to everyone.Unfortunately, you can only post one review on Google for a supplier (like many such sites, they don't seem to expect repeat purchases). Since buying the work bench reviewed favourably above, I have purchased three more smaller benches for workshop equipment. These have all been fitted with wheels and made to a specified height (free of charge option) to suit the specific equipment. (1) Mitre saw - this is the standard height and I have modified with dust shielding to retain the sawdust (2) Router - this is a lower height for easy access to the working surface. I have added a single shield to prevent spraying of dust from the end of the work when cutting grooves. (3) Surface planer - same height as the mitre bench. All three have been fitted with a power socket with an emergency stop button.
