Very nice fish ponds and surroundings. Owner very friendly and gave us good advice on sightseeing as well. Even showed us the on site osprey. Initially fish were not biting when we were there but the owner let us use another pond where we were very lucky and caught fish immediately. Incredible big beauties. Very dog friendly too. We highly recommend this place. It was another great exexample of scottish hospitality.

Well run, stocked fishing ponds. Great place to get an intro to fly fishing. Equipment and advice supplied. Great way to spend some time practicing a skill in the outdoors. Good toilet facilities on site.

What a fantastic place. If you love to fish or want to try for the first time, this is the perfect place. Calm and tranquil and great for kids. Also has a resident Osprey who we saw catch trout in one of the ponds.Thankfully our catch was safe.

Visited today with my partner and found it was a beautiful spot and great for beginners. However we were almost ready to walk back out as the attitude of the lady on the entrance was appalling. Admittedly we'd failed to book but it was our first time visiting and she couldn't have been more blunt with showing us how to get admitted. Even when leaving, not so much as a hello or goodbye.

Firstly the owner (Mike?) was courteous and friendly when we booked, and this was carried on when we arrivedWe were taking the grandkids fishing and hoping to help the youngest lad catch his first fish. We were there 2 hours and managed to get 2, one at 1.5 lbs and one at 2 lbsLet's be honest with sweetcorn and a bubble float it is hook and haul" but this is perfect for the kids.The only thing that spoiled it for me was some ignorant kids there that had there own kit

Great day out for kids and adults alike.Pros - lovely setting, big ponds mean lots of room for everyone. Very low prices and all the kit you need can be hired. Turn up as a total new start and they'll kit you out for under £20.Cons - the children's bait pond isn't catch & return - you have to kill and keep the fish, so be ready to gut and eat! That said you're almost guaranteed to catch a fish!The fly pond is catch and return.

Never fly fished in my life. Mike gave me a great first lesson. Then after an afternoon of getting it dialed in, caught and released my first rainbow trout. Highly recommended!
