Very rude staff. The bengali door man at the front taking in customers for the towerhamlets job centre, shouted at me infront of everyone, when I simply asked a question about which desk number I was at as, I didn’t hear it the first time. Really rude and unprofessional.

Had an appointment for 3-50 pm , was made to wait till 5pm in reception area (while later appointments were seen to straight away) till i was seen by any staff member, only security staff spoke to me who tried to get a member of staff to talk to me without success, i am severely disabled and was in great discomfort and pain, totally unacceptable for a government agency to act .

Deborah blond lady with medium length hair and her menager on duty who name was Wendy apparently not to sure for the spelling here. Were extremely rude and unprofessional this morning on Friday 17th of February. Deborah didn't check nothing on the computer to give me an explanation or any proof also she said that it's her decision didn't update my discount for bus and trams as Im updating my oyster every 6 month and doing this since my son was born in June 2021. I'm a single mum and need help with oyster to travel to work. I'm doing only 2 days and it's less than part time,,so I left this morning very upset and dawn,, and feeling like I was discriminate because I wasn't born in this country.Thank you for understanding.Kind regardsKateryna

They don't even deserve 1 star. They don't help you, all they do is laugh and make jokes with each others. They are so loud that you would be able to listen what your interviewer is saying. Most of the time they don't even know why you are here. They will set appointment with different staff and when you attend the appointment they will spend more than 10 minutes just to understand why you are having an appointment with them. So irritating! Once my uncle wanted to talk with them but they refused to speak as they were so busy. But the truth is they were busy talking about their holidays and who looks nicer. Really? The way they treat us is like we are some kind of pain but this is what they have applied for. Didn't they know this is what they have to do in the job centre? Awful service!

My first visit was not very welcoming unfortunately, one of the staff was checking my iPhone out, and may be thinking in his head, I am doing a benefit fraud. Can’t blame them, as so many people are actually doing benefit fraud. My dear bengali brother, you don’t know my situation and can’t judge me like that. The phone is old and could be a gift from a family member, you don’t know.

The people working there are just so unhelpful. I have an injury and I am unable to walk fast.. It was my first time there and was 10 minutes late to my appointment when the place was absolutely empty.. By the time, one of the staff comprehended my distress.. She finally decided to ring the person I was meant to see after 5 minutes.. I have asked her to mention I had to get a taxi to get to the appointment due to my injury.. The person lied through her teeth.. She said it should be a very long interview when it shouldn't have been.. I DANIEL BLAKE is me as well.. VERY FRUSTRATING !!! Spent unneccesary money and time !!!

some people are just there as a jobs worth and without a brain lets take the security guards, i am not allowed to take my small fold up bike in and they did not give me a good reason apart from its their rules. yet i see people with luggages and bags that are actually bigger than my bike, that doesn't make common sense?

All staff are so rude they need proper training to how to behave with human being. They are not helpful because of government job that's where they don't care about. I think management need to take care off staff and they need to give proper training to staff to how to behave with people.

Not too keen on some of the staff. i went into the poplar job centre, i went to a appointment on behalf of my dad, who is intensively ill. I saw a work coach by the name of Audrey. i asked her politely to not send my dad for regular appointments because my farther is very ill (also we cannot keep attending appointements as we are busy too.). she displayed a very unprofessional attitude, she also kept speaking over me not letting me finish my sentence, she raised her voice at me. very disgusting behaviour coming from a work coach.she did not bother to listen at all to what i wanted to say.i wasnt happy with the way she dealt with everything. Managers should review their staff behaviours. im also reading a lot of negative reviews about some staff from other users.i hope customer service would be more pleasant in future.
