Sunday night is karaoke if you like it ?Friendly staff

Had a very nice lunch today, 4 for service is not the true story....the service was very slow...but there seemed to be only one chap doing everything, and for what he was having to do his service was better that excellent

Stop over for lunch! Lack of staff. We waited 1 hour for a fish and chips ( very dry !!) and a burger.The barman / waiter/ reception cover...was alone running everywhere. Terrace was full of customers for a sunny Saturday.Toilets were not well cleaned and absolutely not standard for an hotel !Floor in the pub was not hoovered and full of hair and dust.

Heard some rumours but called in anyway. Busy on a Tuesday lunch ? Just needed another member of staff to help especially with food. The girl/lady/woman , sorry dont want to offend in these rudiculous times lol , on the bar was good and knowledge. The best draft coke we have had in years ! Will def be going back

Enjoyed the visit today with my friends. Staff were very attentive and the food was good. My only critisism is there were no alcohol free drinks and the vegetarian meal options were sparse. Would visit again though.

We sheltered here from storm barbet in oct 2023. Nice n cosy and made very welcome. Chilled in room And town during day - had nice meals 1st night and selection of snacks on second - bar/lounge was really nice with an excellent selection - Graeme made us welcome and bar staff so friendly and made us feel at home. Excellent wee break. Definitely be back

Poor communication all round in the hotel, had to cancel a taxi and there was only one member of staff who looked dumfounded. Food wasn't great either, I ordered a steak pie and it was just cut up steak with a 99p pastry on top of it

Rooms need a bit of tlc.staff are absolutely excellent. Very helpful and pleasant. Right in the heart of banchory.would definitely use again

Firstly our room, definitely not hoovered, curtains hanging off the rail, many cigarette butt's outside window, food, average to say the least if you're going to serve steak pie make it as one not place pastry on top of stewed beef and charge a premium for it, also fish was only half a fish, again at a premium price! Bar staff outside the hotel! Clearly not interested, this happened on several occasions, poor show, this hotel could be a major attraction in Banchory, but someone with a lot of interest needs to be managing it so much better, our opinion, poor show, return visit? Definitely not.
