Small car park, friendly staff, reasonably modern facilities.

60 years ago, on July 4th '64 there was a loud American party going on Hooley St... I was born to 'The House of the Rising Sun'.This has always been an important place, and at 265' the highest point in Sherwood, would have provided look-out for Robin & his band.

My mum stayed here for 1 week respite. She has stayed elsewhere in the past and never been happy however she really enjoyed staying here. She said rhe food was amazing and the staff were all very caring and nice. She was able to have a laugh with he staff especially Paul.. I was a bit anxious before she went in this home. I visited before she went in and did not loke one of the day rooms. This made me question if it was was right place for herhowever i would recommend this home.

My mum and dad both arrived during the pandemic, sadly, dad has left us but mum is very happy there, while waiting to catch him up. Says a lot about the place, I think.
