Oriental Food Centre

Ordered from this place, waited 1.5 hours, called up and they told me it was out for delivery. A further half an hour later and food still not arrived. I drove to the place for them to be shut and never received food but I have been charged.Do not use this place at all.I will be seeking a full refund if not I will be contacting trading standards.

So.. my last few experiences with this place have been none less of shocking.Firstly.. a family meal ordered 1 hour 55 minutes later the driver arrived my Brothers wife answered the phone to a the driver saying he is 1 minute away and can we come out to the car to collect the food as it’s raining and he doesn’t want to get out the car, when we went outside he had already been and our bag of Chinese food was on the floor at our doorstep stone cold and missing our chicken balls and chips.. they gave us the sauce however.. kind gesture indeed.We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for the much long awaited return of the delightful driver without apology.Secondly.. we ordered on a Thursday evening giving this place the benefit of the doubt and we this time waited 2 hours 35 minutes from the time of order for our food.. it was also stone cold… the promised me the driver would return with a refund which sure enough didn’t arrive, I’ve called a few times since asking for my refund on the food and this evening got told I will not be receiving the refund for the food I threw in the bin as it was inedible and the manager is still to busy to talk to me even though I can hear him giving the poor girl on the phone instructions.Outrageous customer service and very very average food… AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Good food but delivery was very slow took over two hours before delivery

Great food and delivery. The other day the delivery was delayed but I think it depends what day your ordered it.

Think they must have a new cook as the curries are very watery and flavourless,they keep messing up with my order. Plus they charged me £1.70 for extra mushrooms and it was 1 mushroom cut into 4..... ridiculous, extortionate price.

March 2019: Recently tried this place again, giving them a chance to settle in after a few months, they must of listened to the recent complaints because the food has completely changed and tastes really really nice, portion sizes are great, food is piping hot, keep up the good work guys!(Old review October 2018: Since the new owners took over the portion sizes have reduced and the price has risen, the sweet and sour sauce is bright pink tastes like strawberry syrup you put on your ice cream! And the amount of large UNCOOKED pieces of onion in the chow mein was ridiculous.)

Delivery service good but the customer service is shockingly bad, they missed out an item on our food and their only excuse was, “we are too busy and can’t get the food item to you” we definitely won’t be using this place again due to the service we have received as this is something you look forward to having and missing one item that completes the whole of the dinner ruins it

Ordered house special curry. Got chicken and prawn?? No beef or pork like mostAlso no free prawn crackers like others.Average takeaway. Wouldn't use again

Quite possibly the worst Chinese me and my family have ever had..Ordered way before opening time and food arrived quickly but almost COLD!Crispy beef wasn’t the usual, prawn crackers were disgusting, sweet and sour sauce was unbearable and again, it was 10x worse because it was cold. Would never order again.
