Didn't catch the name of the lovely man who changed my 2 front tyres for me today. Transparent and helpful and done within the time slot booked. Thank you :)

I'll start by saying it should be zero stars and that my problems were eventually solved but took a couple of weeks and the whole time I was unable to use my car and only once the threat of the motoring ombudsman or eventually the small claims court was mentioned from myself. I also at the end told them I had video and audio evidence I secretly recorded in store which thank god I had as up until I mentioned that they told me it was my fault and they'd never pay me a penny. I'll break my long story into partsPart 1 A renault clio with an idle problem.I have a little knowledge of car repairs so picked up a clio that had a few wear and tear problems and got to work replaced a few parts Temperature sensor and thermostat housing then refilled to fix an old leak. Fitted the amended crank shaft sensor into the wiring harness with the updated crankshaft sensor because of damage from the coolant leak. Changed filters, coil pack, spark plugs and primary lambda sensor as odb threw up a fault and was original to the car (I know was probably an upstream fault but had one anyway). Finally got it running however it had a lumpy idle which would correct itself when the map sensor was removed and replaced so whilst getting a new one my old man decided to have a look at the car and managed to snap the sensor which is a little tube as thick as your finger off a tictac size box (this part is important for later) the tube goes through the air intake manifold and is held in by a rubber ring. Once the top is snapped off the plastic spigot drops into the top of the manifold. Now to recover that part took me 2 hours I had to disconnect the wiring harness the coil pack and remove the air intake manifold to get to it whilst doing this I also noticed a worn throttle body butterfly valve so replaced the whole throttle body component as well. This made the car work fine with still a minor idle problem when going slow so I thought I'd get it checked at f1 autos with a proper diagnostic.Part 2 F1AutosSo they take the car in charged for a diagnostic did it and told me it was the map sensor. I said I had replaced it already it was with a cheap ebay sensor which they laughed at however I have a odb grapher and could see it was doing its job fine. They said I needed a new one and it would fix the problem there price was £240+ to replace and fit. (if you can push in a plug you can replace the sensor as long as your careful to pull it out straight and not break it). I said no way got the part they were going to use from euro car parts up the road for £40 and fitted it myself in their store took me 2 mins. Then they tested the car again no difference like I suspected. They then kept the car for another 30 mins while I heard a few laughs I didn't think anything of it at the time and finally came outside and said they can't fix it I'd have to go elsewhere and it would probably be best to scrap it. Whilst there I asked for the old part to which they said they threw it away in the box which I found strange but asked that's fine I'll wait won't be hard to find. (whilst he left I started my phone recording as seemed strange). When I got the part back in the box I took a look and realised it was the brand new one I had just bought and the spigot was broken off exactly like my dad had done.Had to move to photos of text for the rest

So it seems they employed dodgy mechanics, I paid £350.00 for a full service & other items , no receipt as printer not working didn’t think anything about it now my car has the same fault & the company won’t do anything about it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY you pay for goods they don’t deliver, I’m also guessing they prey on women especially older women

If I could I would give them zero rating. Worst service I have ever received, these guys have no clue on what customer service is. Poor communication and lack of knowledge about its own products

I have booked the appointment for my car tyres on 15 Sep 2023 at 13:45 and arranged a time to go to the Slough Formula One Autocentre. However, when I reached there, the customer service representative informed me that we still need to receive the delivery of the tyres; hence, the tyres can't be replaced, and we'll book another appointment for you. The Representative said I'd receive a call when the tyres arrive, and the new appointment will be booked, but I have not received a call. After waiting 2 days, I called back on Sunday after 10:00 a.m. to confirm if tyres were available. The Representative confirmed that the tyres had arrived, but no one called me. Then again, the Representative booked me for 12:00 p.m. and when I reached there, he said I booked you for 11:45 a.m. I got the time on the phone at 12:00 p.m., and no confirmation email or message was received for the appointment time.At last, I decided to cancel my order and get a refund as I had a very unpleasant experience with formula one autocentre Slough. I'll sort out my tyres with someone else, but I won't use F1 Auto centre again due to the poor customer I received on 2 occasions.

Whilst the one of the technicians did a great job of changing of my tyres, the service was slow for everyone that was waiting. They didn’t have time to carry out the free alignment check. When we arrived, there was only one person working. The manager was very late and he looked like he was out the night before. The area assistant manager had to come in on his day off and then left.
