MR Cricket Hockey

Once again, we made what is becoming our bi annual trip to my daughter's favourite shop! Service, as always, was fantastic with everything in store that we needed to get. Nothing was too much trouble, staff always helpful and attentive but never overbearing. Prices are competitive and the trip rounded off with hot chocolate at the lovely cafe around the corner! Thanks to all the staff for their help today. Mr Cricket Hockey continues to be her favourite shop EVER!!

My experience was a mixed bag really!I was looking for cricket helmets, pads, thigh pads, cricket shoes and a few extra bits for my two boys.The shop had a choice of brands for all of these, including cheaper and better quality items.This is the first shop I have been to that had all this under one roof, so pretty well a one stop shop, which is great! Prices, although not cheap, were reasonable.I ended up buying all of these from this shop.But the service was extremely poor!!I was told they were short staffed, so I was patient in waiting my turn to be served.When my turn came, a seemingly experienced and knowledgeable employee left me feeling used. Seven times he went off serving other customers, without telling me. One occasion, he dealt with five others before me getting him to serve us again, by which time he had forgotten he had gone off to get something for us. I told him we were running out if time as I needed to be elsewhere, but this made no difference.The logic was clear, once we had started shopping we wouldn't leave, so went on to newer customers.2 hours 45 minutes I was in the shop and missed my appointment elsewhere. So he was proved correct, but I was left feeling under valued by the shop. I don't know if this is typical or not.Cricket is a small circle, there aren't many shops around so we talk about experiences at our club, and this wasn't positive.

Great quality products with super fast delivery. Had one issue with an item but they replied back to me within hours and we managed to sort it. Highly recommend this company with lovely people and great public service

Excellent company. I have bought several pieces of cricket kit for my grandson including pads, bat and gloves. Always delivered swiftly and my questions have been answered promptly by customers services.

Lots of options for hockey and cricket supplies. Nice and helpful staff. There is parking space as well in front of the shop.

Very prompt turnaround and great customer service - all the uniform pieces I ordered arrived within 2 days and the team was very helpful when I encountered an issue with a second order I placed. They were very helpful on the phone and cancelled/refunded my order within the hour and shipped the right item straight after. I would highly recommend. The quality is also really high.

The cricket bag my granddaughter wanted was available, with her initials, for an competitive price. A minor delivery glitch was sorted out by a helpful member of staff. So good service and everyone is pleased with the outcome.

I usually order online and it is delivered at the school. Very convenient to buy and also easy to exchange sizes by simply returning it back to the school reception. I’m happy with the service and all. Thanks!

I needed some new Keepers gloves, did not expect them to arrive in time for the weekend's game but they did arrive, they were cheaper than other sites and I got my club discount on top. Highly recommended.
