Had an integrated dishwasher installed but handle came off because of incorrect fixings. Impossible to get anyone back to rectify, promised calls back but never materialised. Installation ok but after sales very poor

I first used D Powell Plumbing & Heating to do 2 bathrooms, their fitters are excellent. Then they fitted a whole new kitchen, corrected mistakes that I had made and again the kitchen fitters were excellent too. They are a friendly and willing to help business. So if you want a new bathroom or kitchen look no further. Great job thank you!

Excellent service, polite friendly a pleasure to deal with. I rang with a boiler fault on the Monday the lady explained that it would be 4 weeks to get the gas engineer to be able to come i said could he call round to assess for parts, she said she would ring back. Next morning her colleague rang and said he would be arriving in the next 30 minutes 20 minutes later he was here. He looked , ordered the parts and said he would be back asap I said i was booked in 4 weeks time he said before that.2 days later phone call , he will be here tomorrow he arrived friendly polite and did an excellent job. Very impressed all round, thank you very much.

D Powell’s we’re responsible for the installation of my shower and plumbing across my new build property.In the previous 15 months of occupancy of my new build home, I have had without exaggeration FOURTEEN separate leaks across different bathrooms and countless visits from D Powells to try and recognise and fix the leaks. Unfortunately they haven’t been able to and have neither been overly responsive despite significant leaks through multiple ceilings. I’ve had repeatedly leaking showers, toilets and pipe work. Further I’ve had bodged dodgy repairs including the changing of valves the wrong way round!Sadly I wouldn’t trust them at all with any plumbing. They deny responsibility of leaks and try to pass these onto the builder (Chartland) blaming 'the sealant moving.' Seriously, use this service with great caution.

We have used Powell's for years for small plumbing jobs and always found them to be reliable, good value and easy to deal with. So it was an easy choice for us to use them when it came to having a new bathroom designed and fitted. They didn’t disappoint. It was a difficult bathroom to get right and they really nailed it. Everyone we dealt with through Powell's were reliable, conscientious and pleasant, and we are chuffed to bits with the end result. Would definitely recommend.

Had both new bathroom and central heating system installed both within the last six months, the team were professional and helpful from first enquiry to finished installs, highly recommended would not use anyone else.

Book for gas boiler services for 2 properties 3 weeks in advance at 9am. By 9am got phone call say engineer can't come in he need to go different job ask me to re schedule next week. I lost 1 day wages stay at home for nothing. Not happy

New boiler fitted and central heating maintained. Hive thermostat installed. Competitive price. Job started and completed on time. Powell's have been helpful on many occasions, sometimes for very small jobs that were nevertheless important. It's no surprise they did a bigger job to a high standard. Thanks to the firm and the staff.

We used this company for the first time due to a leak in the kitchen. The lady who answered the phone was fantastic, so pleasant and polite. She even apologised for not being able to get someone to us straight away! We had to wait a couple of days!!! I thought it would be weeks.Darren came out at 8am on the day arranged, assessed the problem and arranged to do the repair two days later.Craig came out at 8am today and found the leaking pipe, photographed it to show my husband, cut out the offending piece of pipe and replaced it.I told a friend of mine about the company and she said she had used them previously and she had the same experience with them. Fast and efficient.All I can say is that I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, we are so pleased with their work. Professional and efficient.
