Popeyes Louisiana Chicken
I have been postponing a visit of this burger place for some while and today I finally went in, unfortunately I have been disappointed. Start with the good - the place looks nice and tidy. Ordering via touchscreen machine, easy and service was really fast. Now the bad - there were no straws available for the drink. No condiments either. Burger it self is quite large, that is good, but the taste was disappointing and dry, chicken filé very and over-frier and not enough mayo, luckily I had coke to wash it down. And fries ok but not very salty. I don't think I will be coming again, sad because the place looks nice and service is fast.

Nice and spacious restaurant. Kept nice and clean. However despite it not being that busy our order took ages and even then they missed couple of items which I had to remind them about. Cleaning lady also kept locking us up in the inside area even though we had to get up and refill our drinks etc. Food was nice and freshly cooked.

We had a spicy chicken wrap meal, and Mac n cheese with three tenders, plus Cajun fries. All were mostly good.

My friend got VIOLENT food poisoning from their RAW chicken tenders for 5 days straight. Horrendous and disgraceful are not even the words even when they dismissed this evidence and her experience altogether

This food is truly amazing, particularly if you appreciate some spice. Honestly loved every bite. Place is vibrant, colourful and clean. Would go more often if there was one more local to me.

One of the cleanest restaurants around. The service has been very quick on each visit. The spicy fries and burger could be spicier. I liked a chicken burger, but these are just quite greasy/oily for me, so I had a wrap last time which I much preferred. There really shouldn’t be any charge for condiments! The little cakes are like rocks, dry and not pleasant. The mac n cheese tastes better than it looks. I really want to try the burger again, but won’t I’m afraid.

Nice restaurant but awful food.Chicken was really greasy, oil dripping everywhere. Clearly fresh as took a long time but soooooo hot! Hard to work out which parts of the chicken they were but had little meat. Coating ( had classic) very bland and tasteless and fell to pieces.Chips were nice but very dry and they charge for ketchup or sauces!Only saviour was the vanilla shake. I’ll be sticking to KFC.

I am impressed at how clean the place is and how the staff are regularly cleaning the tables. Restrooms are clean and checked regularly. The table service is great and fast. I had to wait less than five minutes for my food to be served.The only thing is the music is too loud for someone to have a conversation. The place is spacious

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken
Walked into Popeyes in Reading and was wowed by how awesome the restaurant looked. Way nicer than the American versions which is usually in Urban areas of the US. I was excited since I'm home sick and missing food back home, but, alas, it fell very short. Ordered the chicken burger, 2 piece with fries, 2 biscuits and wings. Chicken burger was nice but I ordered the plain instead of the deluxe. Fries were cold, seasoned nice but cold. Didn't try the chicken but the wings were nice. Again, cold. Biscuits were solid rock, over baked and so hard I nearly chipped a tooth. Have to say I was pretty disappointed, cold food and the easiest item on the menu to prepare was ruined. I always left Popeyes in the US like I've had a feast, unfortunately, I just feel cheated out of a good meal. Get it together guys.
