A lovely hotel with a beautiful riverside restaurant. We regularly visit for their excellent carvery lunch which is never disappointing. The staff are great and the prices very reasonable. All good.

Super accommodating. Great last minute Sunday lunch. With no booking the staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate us, even though they were absolutely rushed off their feet. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.Food was incredible, carver was super friendly. We will definitely be going back. Loved it.Thank you.

We recently had a fantastic holiday at The Bridge House and wanted to share my wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure our comfort. Their helpfulness added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. The food was a highlight of our trip - absolutely delicious! Every meal was a treat for the senses, a true culinary delight that we looked forward to each day.The room was comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which made the room a bit warm at times, especially in the hot weather.Overall, our stay at The Bridge House was truly unforgettable. The staff's hospitality, mouthwatering cuisine, and cozy accommodations made it a remarkable experience. Despite the minor inconvenience of the missing AC, I would wholeheartedly recommend The Bridge House for a memorable getaway.

Stayed here as part of a big group for three nights. We found the facilities to be excellent, especially the bar and restaurant area. All staff were excellent from start to finish, particularly on the Sunday which was very busy and they worked so hard and always with a smile and good attitude. The breakfast, carvery and choice of beer were all very good too. Would definitely stay here again, thank you.

Food is excellent, the seating area outside is really lovely. Some of the staff aren't that friendly and have a surly attitude. Rooms are nice but very hot at night, and there's a lot of road noise when you have to open the front windows for fresh air.

Great Place. I stay here probably half a dozen times a year when that way on business. Staff are always friendly and courteous. Food is excellent. Rooms are clean and of a good standard. Highly recommended.

This in an ideal spot if you're flying out of Bournemouth to stay overnight. We were there because Best Western had a deal 3 nights for the price of 2 including breakfast and we were touring around the area. We had a ground floor accessible room with walk in shower which looked out towards the river. We were there over a Friday and Saturday and there was no noise. The room was a really good size as was the shower room, unfortunately the scaffolding was still up outside the window but that didn't bother us too much. The room would have benefitted by either a chest of drawers or shelving and the same in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet at night. The food was very good value. We had dinner there each evening on our 3 night stay. Breakfast was self service, no fish option unfortunately nor cold meat/cheese for continental visitors, but what I really missed was no tea pots, coffee pots or milk jugs, one had to make individual hot drinks at the servery. There was ample supply of English breakfast and plenty of toast with an excellent toaster. There was a good evening menu especially if you were only staying 1 or 2 nights. If you were there for a week it would be more limited choice. They did offer a daily special but it was the same daily special for the soup and main course every night! Fortunately for us it was three lamb cutlets which were excellent. The food was of a good quality, cooked well and ample. The hotel was clean, excellent disabled toilets, and the decor was all in very good order. Large car park and no problem accessing the hotel if you were using a wheelchair. I would recommend staying here for a short break.

Just had a 3 night stay with my dad. This is a superb hotel with decking over looking a lovely river and grass area. The hotel has a very pleasing decor. Everyone of the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. I can see why they have many regulars staying here both for overnight accommodation or just to enjoy their lovely food. I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you prefer not to be in the centre of town.Couldn't fault this hotel
