I am very skeptical about Chinese takeaways in Reading. A work colleague suggested that i try Good Old Days.I ordered an Egg fried rice and Chicken with vegetables.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the warmth of their service.I just hope they are able to sustain this quality.I wish them luck.

Nice people, but the food was far from tasty. The noodles lacks meat and veg and very greasy. In all its far from great. Sorry, but I wont be going back.

Outstanding quality Chinese food in Hong Kong style. It's not easy to have such great yummy tasties in Reading indeed. Family business with human touch. The chef was working in the kitchen of a 5 star hotel in Hong Kong before moving to the UK. I sincerely recommend it to all UK foodies living nearby!

Great authentic HK cuisine! Lovely people. The wok hei and the quality of the chef shines through from the fried rice and dry ho fun but obv limited by price points with ingredients. Will be back when around! Yums...
