I found all the staff here very patient, understanding and friendly. People can dread the experience of finding a care home for their loved one, but the team here made the experience so much easier than expected. Thank you all.

Thank you to all the kind, considerate and knowledgeable staff that took care of my grandad. I really did feel that he was in such safe hands and the team genuinely cared about his well-being and our reassurance along the way.

My dad has been at Hunters for 4 months now following a couple of respite stays. We knew from his first stay that this was the right place for him when he needed full time care. The staff are all amazing and take such fantastic care of dad and go over and above to make sure he is safe and happy.Dads needs have changed since his arrival and every adjustment that has been required has been handled with care and dignity.All of my family that visit every week are made to feel welcome and included and has allowed us to make more memories while we can. We can’t thank the whole team enough for everything they do every single day for dad and our family.I can’t recommend Hunters enough for what they do every single day.

Staff act in a very professional way and care to all the needs of the residents with care and attention.The place is clean and tidy with a nice atmosphere and I highly recommend for anyone looking for a care residence for someone suffering with dementia.

Such a lovely and friendly home. So inviting and fantastic decor - very stylish. What really makes them stand out is their attention to detail and compassion. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Care Home with amazing hotel-like facilities. The whole team are a credit to Aaron and Kelly who have them acting extremely professional and attentively. The place is always spotless…..and provide great cakes!

I was lucky to have spent 3 weeks here doing work experience through my college course and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I managed to get some incredible experience being here and I was able to meet some lovely people. If you’re looking for a job with good people and a happy environment I would definitely recommend this place!! All residents are lovely and looked after so well. I have been working at the care home for 1 year as the hairdresser 1 day per week so far, I have really enjoyed it. The residents are wonderful, we have so many laughs. The staff are really supportive and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful and fun, loving home to work in. The staff and residents are like family . I really love my job.

My lovely uncle was at Hunters Lodge, he was so happy and the staff became good friends and family to us all. They are all really supportive and we’re there for us when ever we needed a hug, cry or just a chat. The food is absolutely lovely and we were always welcome to have meals with my uncle including Christmas and birthdays etc, which was so important to our family. the head chef is so enthusiastic. I would recommended this home 100%. Wonderful and genuine people.

Fantastic care home. My grandma with server dementia as well as some other health issues has recently been admitted here. She seems so much better and happier that she had been before going here so much to the point she now calls it home. The home is beautiful inside and out and is clearly well maintained. The staff are great and always ask if I want tea or coffee and occasionally a slice of cake. I’m really happy we chose this place and would highly recommend it to anyone who’s considering choosing hunters lodge.
