Shae took my daughter and I for an amazing fossil hunt. Shae explained and showed us exactly what to look for and patiently pointed us in the right direction. We did two trips with Shae and I can’t say enough about how good this is. He really knows the science , local history and coastal locations like nobody else. Contact started when I ordered a box of ammonite nodules for my wife’s Christmas present( she was blown away, super unique gift idea). We then set up a trip when visiting the UK for an NFL game. Shae gave us suggestions on where to stay then met us in the morning and took us to two different beaches over two days. He showed us what we were looking for and quickly had about 40 lbs of fossil nodules( he also helped carry them) . We stopped and cracked them open , which is amazing, and he explained what each one was. We loaded up on ammonites, belamnites and an Icthyosaur vertebrae. This is without a doubt the most unique trip you will ever take and you won’t regret it . While we travel a lot collecting fossils we are both 65 and went up and down the cliff with no problems . Trust me , you want to do this.

What a fantastic day! Shae took myself and my wife out on a super low tide. He explained all about the rock layers and how they were formed and showed us how to find fossils and open the rocks they were inside. He also identified the different species, an ammonite is not just an ammonite! We came back happy, tired, with a collection of fossils and big smiles on our faces. I could not recommend the experience more, if you want to find out how and where, these are the guys to see.
