First time we tried it and wasn't impressed. Batter on sausage and fish were rubbery and dry. Really weird consistency :-(

Nice food but disappointing to see someone smoking around the back of the kitchen where food is preparedI won't go back

Ordered multiple times from here before with tonight’s order being for over £40. Each time the food gets greasier and portions smaller. Prices seem extortionate too - almost £4 for “large chips” which would barely constitute a small portion from any other chippy. Batter was soggy and falling off the fish and sausage as it was so greasy, the scampi just tasted of pepper from the batter, and lord knows what was in the fish cake as that was awful. Despite the tiny portions and being extremely greasy, the chips were quite nice, just not worth the price. Only not given one star for the chips, and previous orders being nicer.However, they definitely need to take a long look at their prices and portions!!

We ordered a collection for 7:15 and when we arrived at the collection time, they still didn’t have the order ready which i understand happens sometimes but no apology was said.After collecting our food we decided to just eat in the car as there wasn’t any seats or tables to eat there and it was just me and my partner so didn’t mind sitting in the car as we didn’t want our food to be cold when we got home.We had parked just down the road from the place (you could see the shop) and from our car we could see one of the members of staff starring at us, we didn’t think much of it. However every time I glanced up the man was still starring, I was rather confused and felt kinda awkward as we just wanted to eat our food (we were watching something on our phone so it’s not like we were eating watching them)Then the man obviously told the other members of staff to look at us as they all turned their heads to watch us. It was honestly awful. Eventually I said to my partner “i’m sorry but i’m going to have to move the car as I don’t feel comfortable eating my food while they’re gawping at us” and he agreed so we moved further down so they couldn’t see us anymore.I understand it might of seemed strange for us to eat our food in the car but it’s no different than eating mcdonald’s in the car etc.I find it highly rude to stare at people especially when they’re just trying to eat their food.The food was okay.EDIT: Your reply to my review was completely irrelevant and clearly you didn’t read my review as i never complained once about the food being cold. I mentioned we ate in the car as the time we got home it was likely it would be cold because of the distance we would have travel. I complained about your staff’s awful customer service skills and your staff making people uncomfortable.And I have the food a 3 stars actually however the overall experience was 2 so deal with it.If I ordered something for a specific time i’d expect it at that time not 10 mins after. I would’ve been okay waiting if someone apologies for having to wait.If you are going to reply to reviews at least reply correctly.Thanks.

After having a chicken pizza from there I came over very I’ll with Campylobacter this has taken a week to get over and antibiotics. Not sure if I trust eating there again.

Nice hot food and pleasant people. Not exactly the place you go for the Atmosphere.

This is what you get for large chips at 3.99. The rest was fine except the pitter bread with the kebab which was like rubber. And the lamb shish also like rubber.

Come here quite frequently, most the time the food is perfect. However the staff are unbelievably rude. Made a mistake from just eat as I wanted to collect. So I had changed it. One of the staff was saying I should of left it as it cost them 7 pounds. Etc. They have no manners and they're not focused on customers at all. Also letting there kids run around outside the shop is becoming dangerous. Perhaps using the local park would be ideal.
