Khaki Devil

I visited on a recent open day to see their reconstructed huts and hear about their plans for further buildings and some trench systems. Although very much a work in progress, what they have achieved so far is most impressive. Their meticulous research and high quality workmanship - mostly by volunteers - coupled with a growing collection of artefacts provide a unique experience for visitors. Tea and home-made cakes were available, in return for a donation. Highly recommended.

Day trip for GIRTON wi going to be an amazing historical site

An outstanding group of folk who save WW1 huts led by the indomitable 'Taffy'. From a seemingly impossible start they have built up a fascinating group of beautifully restored huts including a network of trenches.

Great place for military costumes for the film and TV industry.

Fabulous organisation. Well worth supporting.
