Co-op Food - Rudgwick

Decent sized shop with poor availability and variety. Shelves are bare regardless of time or day. Bakery is almost always empty and basics such as bread and milk are never available.

Compacted little shop with post office, you can always find something that you want, quick snack, veg for teatime or the usual bread, eggs and milk. They have 2x self service tills and one staffed? Plenty of parking.

Great local shop for local people

Possibly the most useless village store in all the land. Definitely the most useless in Rudgwick. My wife and I have lived here for less than 12 months and in that time we have seen freezer breakdowns that last days at a time; regular closures of the bakery, sometimes for weeks; constant supply issues and diminished stock; whole aisles cordoned off for no apparent reason, early closures due to lack of staff, and a post office whose opening hours are as sporadic as the Sussex weather. The latest in this string of small dramas is a double hit of more supply issues and a card reader failure that has now lasted several days. Very likely the bakery is also empty as I write this too. The place has really become a bit of a laughing stock for us and we have definitely learned to manage our expectations. It is riding hard off gratitude for being the only shop in the village.

This is a brilliant store for such a small branch. I use it at least twice a week... for many years. Staff are always polite.I really don't know what people are moaning about which is why I've written this email.ps...I do not have any affiliation with the Co-op.

The award for the world’s worst Co-op goes to (drum roll please)... the Co-op in Rudgwick! This place lacks food on the shelves, any sort of customer service and is run by rude, gormless staff. Shame it's the only shop for miles.If only I could give it zero stars, I would.

This is without doubt have the rudest staff , I went into the coop this morning to buy a Easter Egg I amA pensioner so have to watch my money, the price of a Easter Egg at £6 was just disgusting, I said to one of the staff, is that really the price, she looked at me and gruntéd, I said I can buy three in Tesco for £2 each and her answer to that was well go there then, as I walked away she was laughing her head off with another member of staff, if this is customer care you can keep it, i got the bus free and went to Tesco's and bought three large Easter Eggs cost me £6 I shall not enter that shop again

The shop itself is clean, well organised and manages to pack in a great selection without feeling cramped. Unfortunately, two of the younger members of staff seem completely unconcerned about following the social distancing and mask wearing rules customers are following so well, and I don't consider this a particularly safe place to shop during the pandemic.

This shop is a disaster. No fresh bread ever. Low stock or nothing in stock. Empty shelves. Won’t take Apple Pay on random occasions. Sometimes randomly shut due to no staff. Sort it out coop! Avoid if possible.

Visited a few times. Wondering how bad the staff is treated for them to perform so badly..they where not unfriendly but really very uninterested and distracted (having a personal conversation on the phone whilst serving customers).Also strange choices of the things that are available to buy, as it is a small shop, you would expect certain items (fe canned corn) to be there and others not
