The Mini Specialist

I have been taking my car to TMS for a couple years now. I have probably spent around £1500 to £2000 or more on various problems they said I had.I had to call the RAC out recently who saw there was something near the battery that had been there from the day I bought it, which is used on cars that aren’t driven much apparently. Once they had taken this off, because they said there’s absolutely no need for it, it’s working as new!If TMS were experienced/ qualified, surely they would’ve noticed this because the previous RAC man had also noted it. Every problem TMS fixed was short lived and obviously wasn’t the answer.I would never go back or recommend them and believe people should maybe think twice about using them.

hi there just had a engine rebuild at the mini specialist and they were brilliant sent me video of all the work that was being done. rang me to tell me all about prices and the parts brought could have not done enough for us defo use them again, and the car is spot on

I have had 2 minis from the mini specialist , my newest is an upgrade from my previous one which i had no issues with! I would recommend the mini specialist to anyone who is looking for a mini or work to be done on there mini. The process is smooth and simple when buying a new car! Great communication & a high quality service!

My MINI is taken good care of here by a friendly gentleman. Questions asked are all answered with patience. The service record is updated in the dashboard. I would definitely come back and would recommend to people who care about their MINIs.

Cannot fault the TMS team! Back in March, I found myself quite unexpectedly needing a new alternator and crank pulley on my Mini Cooper D. Lisa got a very competitive quote across to me quickly, and Jake was thorough in explaining what he’d check/do when under the bonnet. I was kept well informed (Lisa is an absolute gem, great communication), the work was carried out quickly and upon collection I was shown and given the old parts too. Genuine bunch of people. Highly recommend these guys and will certainly return should I need any more work doing in the future.

I had a fantastic experience with the Mini Specialist in Tipton. After dealing with multiple garages and endless replacements without success, I was on the verge of giving up on my Cooper S. However, after speaking with Lisa and the incredible team, they quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed the faulty fuel pump. Since then, my car has been running beautifully, and I couldn't be happier. Kudos to the Mini Specialist for their expertise and top-notch service!

If you want to buy a second hand mini, the mini specialist is the only place to go. I have been buying cars for over 50 yrs, mostly new, the after care service has always been poor. So how refreshing to get a service you can completely rely on. Honest staff who go the extra mile for you.I was apprehensive buying a 2nd hand 10 yr old mini, I have had it for 3 months nearly, a pleasure to drive, no problems runs like new, completely trust worthy. I will definitely buy from the mini specialist again with confidence. The owner is completely trustworthy and a gentleman no bull sh1t .

I went to these guys after seeing some good recommendations and reviews, so now i have to pay it forward, by giving my own review.So glad i checked these guys out, a small independent garage that specialises in Minis, was just what i needed, luckily local to me as well. Great knowledge of the cars, friendly, and totally up front about things like cost, advice and anything you might ask them. Excellent job getting my brakes serviced and will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended
