What a gem of a pub!! We have been there twice in a month, first for 50th Wedding Anniversary drinks in the garden, having 6 children age 4 - 10 what an amazing surprise to find a bouncy castle in their safe contained garden and second for a family wake, the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. There is a beautiful private function room that you can hire and the doors lead straight out onto the garden. Can't wait to go back for their roast.

A lovely find and great food,but unfortunately a pub that allows vaping indoors,so whilst your eating and drinking you will have to put up with clouds of stinky vape smoke in the bars,quite a few people doing this,so it seems the norm,so we won't be going back,you can take your chances..

Ordered the ploughman's with chips as a side. Ploughman's was served on a wooden platter and was excellent, so were the 'skin on chips'! Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

Landed from Berlin and within an hour we were tucking into ham, egg and chips (£13) and fish pie at the Crown. Exceedingly friendly, can do manner from the bar staff and thd food was plentiful and tasty. My only comment would be that the plate for the ham, egg and chips was cold. Overall, there was a very nice atmosphere and a pub I would return to.

Proper little country pub,nice beer,nice food and people in there were polite and spoke ,cracking open fire as well ,went in here again because its been took by new landlord, its been pleasantly redecorated met a few of the locals i new .we had the lasagna and i had blue cheese chicken breast ,very big portion and the thatchers was cold ,well worth the visit oh and they have a bouncy castle in the garden for the kids ,so the adults can chat and stay off there phones pleasant visit all round plenty of parking also
