Annual health check for my dog today. The vet took the time to discuss his needs and any issues before giving him a thorough examination and his vaccinations, which were well explained before they were done. Great vet.

I can’t recommend enough!!I’ve been taking my nervous little old Jack Russell here for 10 years. The staff always know her by name- that’s maybe because she’s there often.I’ve never had any trouble getting appointments, in fact today I telephoned because she’d caught her dew claw.I was able to take her straight there and Meggie received treatment straight away.I’ve always felt the prices are fair.

Took my dog for an eye ulcer and was administered medication. At the follow up appointment we went to pay and was advised no payment was needed. So we left.Another appointment was made for the following week. The afternoon before we realized we had conflicting appointments and needed to re arrange. I rang the Backworth practice and was put in the que. I was 2nd in the que for 87 mins.As I was unable to speak to someone I rang the Cramlington practice and was told they cannot change appointments as it’s not their branch. However I could call backworth at 7:30am as that’s when they open. Rang the following morning, again I was 2nd in the que from 7:37 till 8:47!I then receives a call 3 weeks after the 1st follow up appointment asking for payment. Yet was told no payment was needed previously.I questioned this, reception lady was quite rude and advised as it wasn’t her that we spoke to we would have to pay! They are so money driven, no customer service and there was no apology for the lack of communication. I was told they have a high sickness in receptionists at the moment and it’s not their fault! Very helpful!Safe to say I will now be moving to a family ran vets rather than a money making chain!

Dont use this place!!! Took my dog here on a monday night as she had been really unwell all weekend, the vet checked her temp, heart, lungs, kidneys and liver and said she was totally fine - nothing at all wrong, took her back the next morning as she was still the same they then said she was very very poorly she died that day with pancreaitits and very inflamed kidneys and liver!!!!

Please do not use this veterinary practice under any circumstances. My dog was killed by these people without my consent or knowledge. He was just 7 years old.I approached their head office with my complaint and after almost 2 months of nothing, they have given me no explanation or investigation and have said they are not investigating and I should use other channels. Not once have they apologised for what they have done. For a company that is meant to provide care for your animals, they are the least caring company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They killed my dog, neglected him and then failed to conduct any investigation.I will be making sure that this is now pursued through legal channels.

We love Moorview! We’ve been many time with all 4 of our pets over the last 3 years. We sadly lost our beloved Indie 2 years ago, but we always remember how amazing the team was at that time going above and beyond. Everytime we come back for appointments with each of our pets we always receive the best care. You provide a completely faultless service and we know our pets are in the best possible hands throughout their lives, even at the end, the care is simply exemplary! Thank you Moorview.

AHCI have asked the question of cost of AHC and how you can justify the £285 price with not much success when I ask about the price I’ve been told the following..takes an hour for an ov vet to complete AHC batch numbers from the gov costs are expensive best of all it’s a luxury to travel with a pet and we are the cheapest around think yourself lucky some charge £500First ..why does a ov vet need to prepare the document could be done by admin staff vet only to check and signSecond.. AHC numbers are free as is the document downloadThird .don’t try to justify your overpriced AHC on other overpriced vets prices and expect customers to be happy

Friendly and helpful staff. The vet took the time to listen to my concerns about my cat, put my mind at ease, very caring and professional.

Several people have mentioned the difference lately at Moorview vets, more driven about money than anything else.I have to agree. We have had to take our Jack Russell this morning to be put to sleep, 17 wonderful years, now I get today was a BH, but to charge £307.00 when people are so upset losing their pet, double the normal price for an injection.I get it if it was an emergency operation, but the injection didn't suddenly double in cost to the Vets today, we were in there no more than 15 minutes. We chose to save our little dog from suffering anymore, I just felt charging double price to put an animal out of pain is not the caring touch you would expect from a vets.I tend to now agree with what some other dog breaders have told us, alas this is our local vet, but we will be registering our other dog elsewhere from today.Speak as you find though.Nothing at all against the staff working there today.

We’ve taken our dog Dexter here for nearly 2 years now & they’ve looked after him to the highest of standards. We are part of the pet plan & find it so much easier when we are told what he needs & when. He is greeted by name & always made a fuss of, so weirdly, he loves it there too!
